We have Vietnam War veterans that can't even afford proper health care. Many are homeless or living a impoverished life. I have seen many of them at VA hospitals that only get the minimum care because they can't afford the co-payment on their so-called insurance. That's a disgrace to our country.

My uncle is a Vietnam War veteran and had to be on a waiting list for years before the VA hospital operated on his leg. He's had problems with it for years because of shrapnel he took from a grenade when he was only 19 years old.

My brother-in-law currently has no place to live so he's sleeping on our couch in our 1 bedroom condo here in Washington State (near Seattle but not in Seattle, thank God). My fiance and I don't have kids yet so he's lucky otherwise he would literally be homeless. Here's the thing, he's fully employed at Boeing and STILL can't afford a home because they're too expensive to buy OR even rent. There isn't any housing available anyway (other than our couch). My question is, where the hell are all these millions of immigrants staying? Also, I see these swaths of immigrants at the grocery store who don't speak English, many with 3-5 children, but all buying HUGE carts full of everything from steaks and seafood to rotisserie chickens and fancy ice cream. After 3 years your property can be sold at a tax deed auction that could well exceed the actual taxes owed making it nearly impossible for the home owners to pay it and inevitably lose their lifelong homes. If you have equity it would be wise to take out a home equity line of credit against your home and pay the back taxes with the funds. I'd hurry though their are countless vultures waiting to pounce on these auctions with cash in hand! Do whatever you need to to keep your home. Rentals have skyrocketed in price and will likely have you end up paying more in rent than your original mortgage was for a smaller place in a sketchy part of town. Not to mention most places require a first, last and security deposit that could be $4k plus just to move in.That money is more wisely spent catching up on the oldest of your back taxes.

Many countries mandate their citizenry to serve in the military including Sweden, Israel, Austria, Denmark, Greece, Egypt, Norway, Spain, Switzerland etc. ( way more than I can list here ) There is an influx of migrants arriving at the US border, eventually I assume, hoping for citizenship. Perhaps compulsory military service for all male immigrants and refugees (18-45) for 1 -2 years should be a consideration. It would : - Possibly discourage the number of immigrants seeking to enter. - Instill values associated with the constitution to those seeking entry. - Give occupation and opportunity to new arrivals with dignified service to the country. - Provide accommodation and security to immigrants and their families with a sense of purpose - Help refugees and migrants acclimatize to the language, customs and moral values held by American citizens. - it would create visible diversity and inclusion in the military. - It may also reduce the need for a draft should war ever break out.

My brother-in-law currently has no place to live so he's sleeping on our couch in our 1 bedroom condo here in Washington State (near Seattle but not in Seattle, thank God). My fiance and I don't have kids yet so he's lucky otherwise he would literally be homeless. Here's the thing, he's fully employed at Boeing and STILL can't afford a home because they're too expensive to buy OR even rent. There isn't any housing available anyway (other than our couch). My question is, where the hell are all these millions of immigrants staying? Also, I see these swaths of immigrants at the grocery store who don't speak English, many with 3-5 children, but all buying HUGE carts full of everything from steaks and seafood to rotisserie chickens and fancy ice cream. How do they afford all that food? Meanwhile in our tiny little condo there are three of us, employed, working our asses off and barley making it by month-to-month. How is this fair?

After 3 years your property can be sold at a tax deed auction that could well exceed the actual taxes owed making it nearly impossible for the home owners to pay it and inevitably lose their lifelong homes. If you have equity it would be wise to take out a home equity line of credit against your home and pay the back taxes with the funds. I'd hurry though their are countless vultures waiting to pounce on these auctions with cash in hand! Do whatever you need to to keep your home. Rentals have skyrocketed in price and will likely have you end up paying more in rent than your original mortgage was for a smaller place in a sketchy part of town. Not to mention most places require a first, last and security deposit that could be $4k plus just to move in.That money is more wisely spent catching up on the oldest of your back taxes.

Absolutely. A convoy of buses like what we've witnessed crossing our borders. And they can park at the WH, Congress, every private home of every official. Here's an Idea ...
Many countries mandate their citizenry to serve in the military including Sweden, Israel, Austria, Denmark, Greece, Egypt, Norway, Spain, Switzerland etc. ( way more than I can list here )
There is an influx of migrants arriving at the US border, eventually I assume, hoping for citizenship. Perhaps compulsory military service for all male immigrants and refugees (18-45) for 1 -2 years should be a consideration.
It would :
- Possibly discourage the number of immigrants seeking to enter.
- Instill values associated with the constitution to those seeking entry.
- Give occupation and opportunity to new arrivals with dignified service to the country.
- Provide accommodation and security to immigrants and their families with a sense of purpose
- Help refugees and migrants acclimatize to the language, customs and moral values held by American citizens.
- it would create visible diversity and inclusion in the military.
- It may also reduce the need for a draft should war ever break out.
This is soooo unfair. My husband just got his citizenship last year. We had an immigration attorney and paid a lot of money for his citizenship!!! It took over 6 years for this process! A Slap in our Face for doing this legally!!! This is WRONG!
