@@annaelt1297 Know the value of both talks. Deep and shallow. Long and short. Observe why and when people use them. In order to have a deep conversation, 3 things need to happen: - You must first build rapport, begin with shallow conversation and humor. To get the loop started, someone has to be willing to share first. Your idea of tapping into shared emotions to connect with others is a brilliant tip for deep conversations. Emotions are the universal currency of human connection, and sharing them is a great way to transcend surface-level interactions. Being vulnerable is a stepping stone to building meaningful relationships, not unlike the spirit of Micro Matters, where we teach something similar: little shifts make a big difference over time.

I find that a huge mental block forms in my brain that I can’t think of something interesting to raise & start a conversation about. Do you have any tips on not coming on too strong. Generally, mostly when talking to women at parties and such social situations, i'll start with some surface level conversation (mostly in interview mode but i'm working on that) and soon i'll try to change conversation to something deeper very abruptly. I'll maybe add a small preface as to why but it certainly isn't smooth and i'll go right in to deep questions about, say, family. This is a) because i'm really bad at surface level convo and b) i get really bored of it, as i think most people do. I'm working on a) but maybe you also have some tips about making surface level more interesting. Thank you very much, i've only watched two of your videos so far but they've been very helpful.
Well.. i'm not him but I'll just try to give my opinion on that... talk about things that interest you, something you are passionate about maybe. or if u r not that interesting.. be a good listener. what do they like, how do they talk, who are they with. just try to learn who the person in front of you is, i think thats extremely intersting, just getting to know a person. or maybe u r just looking at the wrong place. if you're on a party.. there probably wont be really any deep conversations. people are there to have fun and forget about the seriousness of life for a while.. they are just not in the right mood to get emotional. maybe try to meet some new people at like.. cafes and stuff. try to get to know your friends friends. ^^ or maybe colleges at work, class mates, i dont know how old you are... if u have a problem with interview mode (i actually think i have the same problem :D i dont really like to share too much about myself when i dont know a person that well) just try to avoid asking too many questions.. just let the conversation flow and see how it goes... stick to a topic if it's a good one.. and give answers, don't only let the other one do the talking... sure people appreciate listeners, but they get bored of talking about themselves after a while... and they don't know anything about you well, i dont know if that helped, but i think this whole.. "keep a conversation going" - thing is quite interesting.. :) hope i could help you, have a nice day ^^

I actually listened to this properly now. Thank you for helping me build this :)
I'm sharing it for others to experience the same enlightenment it did for me. Nice content for a video. Keep up the good work man!
You should teach at every high school. You’re going to save a lot of people’s mental health.
first comment in youtube; you are the greatest, i just love every video came from the amazing improvement pill. all the best for you.
I find that a huge mental block forms in my brain that I can’t think of something interesting to raise & start a conversation about. Unless it’s something I need to communicate, like in a work environment where u have to tell others what to do, or performing handover info, I’m quite often lost for words.
thanks im an introvert im going to use this i really want to be able to gain a relationship with people
Love your videos, do you get a lot of your material from reading books. You pointed out improving intelligence on your benefits of reading video.
Damn if only I had that type of penmanship when I was in grade school back in the day. It’s soothing to see him write so superbly and neatly :-)
your videos are a piece of life, it helps extremly, i appreciate your work, thanks!

This video randomly popped up in my feed. I'm glad I watched it
Deep conversations are a good topic too cover, because that is a good way of building a good relationship
Hey Man, greetings from Brazil here...I've found you at Practical Psicology and I just can't stop watching these videos. They're so well made and instructive. Thx for sharing this knowledge with us. Can I ask wich program(site) do you use to build the videos? I use pow cartoon on some presentations...thx a lot and keep up the good work.
Sadly, communication is a skill I've lost over the last 12 1/2 years.
How come?
Practice is what makes you better
Skills that took me years to understand are all here compressed in a 7 min video. Lol great channel
I always get people tell me that I like having deep conversations and I actually really do all the things mentioned here. I need to learn how to have casual conversations, any tips?
Dont do that lol
Masego Sehume do the opposite in the video😅but what’s wrong with having deep convos
Your tone of voice made this very dramatic and enjoyable:)
I just started watching these videos and they are some of the most helpful videos I've seen so far I can apply to my own life. Thanks man!! Subbed and liked.

: Do you ever feel
Me: LIKE BREAKING DOWN, DO YOU EVER FEEL OUT OF PLACE
I supposed I knew what deep conversation is. I was wrong. Mostly, it's not emotions I'd share to others. Thank you very much for enlightening me.
One thing. When we listen to others, we are not going to judge them too. Just listen and find the similarity as you mentioned. 😊
Hahaha man may the Universe bless you!!! Such great ideas you explained!!! I'll try to practice this at once!!
^^ or maybe colleges at work, class mates, i dont know how old you are... if u have a problem with interview mode (i actually think i have the same problem :D i dont really like to share too much about myself when i dont know a person that well) just try to avoid asking too many questions.. just let the conversation flow and see how it goes... stick to a topic if it's a good one.. and give answers, don't only let the other one do the talking... sure people appreciate listeners, but they get bored of talking about themselves after a while... and they don't know anything about you
well, i dont know if that helped, but i think this whole.. "keep a conversation going" - thing is quite interesting.. :) hope i could help you, have a nice day ^^
Keep it up man, the wisdom here is on point! more people need to hear this
