Boy! I asked a question last video and this one answered my question. Patience is truly a virtue. I had asked how long the forms were going to be left on.
What forms Bill?....Haha. Did I mention the fact that "These Guys are Fast?"
I just commented but I as I was thinking about you and all you have had to do to get where you are, I just have to say, you are one of the hardest working people I know. You have worked really hard for everything you have. I know you give God the glory, and He deserves it, but you have done what you needed to do to get where you are. Then, to see how you have been blessed with this house. I remember when you were looking to buy a house to move to your property, a house that wasn't even close to what this one is. I am really happy God blessed you with something better. Really looking forward to what happens next.
Thank you Mac. I mean that. I know that you have been watching for a very long time. You know, it has been very helpful to me to have people like you spurring me on over the past 8 or 9 years. When I work on this property I don't feel like I'm alone...I feel like you guys are right there encouraging me to do things that are difficult or overwheming. And we "Git Er Done". The Channel and the people who watch have had a LOT to do with getting this Ranch Built. Thank you.
Thanks Rick I enjoyed the land scape , and I am glad to see that your house foundation is all most done.nice going. god bless you both

Thank you so much...yep. its a Big-Un. I didn't realize how much bigger the house is going to be until they took the forms off and I saw how big the footprint is.
God gave you the instructions and told you you could do it , but it was you that proved God was right ! Even with just the road house you have continued to learn patience and determination Rick . God continues to bless you and your family
Yes! Thank you Richard! God Bless you as well Brother.

Thank you for coming along with us Dennis!
HI again CTR Rick and Jamie from the D Mi 😎 USA and thanks for sharing another great video of the progress with CTRanch 🤙🤩 and thanks for the River tour much appreciated 💞🙏
Glad you enjoyed it Dennis. Thanks again.
I was in awe from the earlier episode and two episodes of CTR in one day is heaven on earth!!! So happy to see the forms stripped of the foundations and I can’t wait to see KK and Mark drop that beautiful house down on its forever place!!! Doesn’t seem like you been on the ranch for 12 years already that’s mind boggling and making me feel like I’m getting old!!! Anyway keep this amazing content coming!!! I’m having thoughts about you in the road house garage doing some building of some quality old gold trucks!!!✌️👍 Rick and we’ll see you in the next awesome adventure of CTR !!!
We started working on the property in the Summer of 2015 and spent our first night out here on April 1st, 2016. So its been 8 or 9 years...but who's counting...haha. Thanks for travelling this road with us Henry!
Rick, if the shop is going to sit higher on your new foundation than it did on the old one you might consider putting a transom window above the man door. It could supply sunlight if power were to go out during the day. Can't wait to see the cribbing and steel gone!
It does have a window on the southern side Charles, but a transom window might be a welcome addition at some point. Thank you Buddy.
I was thinking a taller door, so that larger trucks can go in there.
Almost there ! 👍
Closer every Day! Thanks.
Looks nice
spread you have and your river bed
Its a little piece of paradise. We are very grateful to have it. Thank you.
Appreciate you bringing us along the river with you, wow is that beautiful there couple spots I see I could run my remote control jet boat. It’s only 26 inches long kind of fast.👍👍😁
You have an open invite Andy. You know that.
Glad everything is coming together for you brother God bless you and send a prayer to North Carolina love you wild bills resurrected classics
North Carolina is in our prayers. Thanks for stopping by again Wild Bill.
Level the hard work keep it up
Will do. Thanks Michael!
That's what the help is good for is doing theses
You got that right Luke. Some things require a team!
Thanks for sharing your story with us. I think I knew some about it but not all. The thing is, we are a team, God and us. God does what we can't and then leaves us to do the things we should. Your hard work has gotten you to this point, along with God's blessing. Wonderful to see.
A side note. Watching how they did the foundation leads me to believe the winter weather where you are is much milder than where I live. That means the foundations are done differently and cost less than is the case here. We deal with a four foot deep frost line and that affects how deep we need to run water pipes, and, how we do foundations. I guess living in a milder climate is a blessing when doing things like this. Anyway, wonderful to see the progress.
Thank you. God has been amazing to me. The Winters in our part of Oregon are pretty mild for the most part. The ground is very rarely frozen.
So close to sitting on its new foundation.
SOooo close!
Great episode! Nice seeing it done to this point really must be a great feeling. God Bless you two, it's been a long time waiting.
Jamie and I are very excited. Been a long road. God Bless you as well Rus.
Looking Good !
Thank you James!
👍👍 awesome Rick wow them guys are on the move cool, just got home early from work 12:10 PM Thursday, October 10
Very cool
U are very welcome and thank u for taking me on your journey
Any time, You've come a long way with us.
@@ClassicTruckRescue I'm glad to see it all coming together you guys deserve it and as long as you keep posting videos I'll keep watching and supporting your channel
This is so cool this is something I've always wanted to do there are several houses around my area that I could have purchased and moved but I was always afraid of all the money and work that's involved but man this is just sweet I mean I know you must feel like you know everything is just so great this is cool. I'm happy somebody can do it
I have learned a lot in this process. I guess the main thing I have learned is that everybody needs some help. This is not a project that a man could do by himself. The Emmert crew knows what they are doing. I do think a guy could move a house a short distance with the help of some of his friends but a project like this was definitely best left to the experts.
Now that's progress!!
Yes it is! Thanks again Dan.
Once again God is Blessing you guys, ❤LoveJim J&R mobile service and God Bless Y'all and your critters
Yes He is Jim, Thank you! God Bless You too!
Awesome, they did a nice job.
They sure did! Thanks for the visit my Friend.
I am glad to see your home growing :)
So are we Christopher! Thanks for stopping by.
That was a awesome video hope you both have a blessed night god bless you both 👍🙏❤️💯
Thanks again and God Bless you as well Jeremy!
Blessed !!
Absolutely! Thank you Buddy!
Nice lookin river .. the small rivers in northern Mich can have 50-100ft flood plain, rivers can change course, giant trees topple in storms, moss that's 18 inches thick, its like Jurassic park.
Interesting! River's are awesome and powerful. You are right, they are ever-changing.
now the fun begins...
I have to be honest...at this point, even the HARD stuff is fun!
I had to wait 21 to 30 for my concrete to cure property now too ,in order biuld my walls now too..lots beatiful now and u guys the best of luck too now..
Thank you so much and Thanks for taking the time to watch!
*Kia ora (hello) Rick, Life can bring some hard knocks for people, but it is what one decides to do about it, as we all walk down our own path in life... some wander off, onto a different lane, and get into all sorts of strife.... but you finally found your way back onto the right path again. So be proud of your yourself of what you have achieved since that day. You were given a second chance and had a dream of what you wanted... and many are given so many chances in life but choose to stay in strife. But in 2004 you walked free thru those doors to freedom and you have stayed free to become the person that you are today... to start finding your way in life... to find a good woman in Jamie, to be able to buy land and slowly but surely, you have transformed this land into your home.... 🙂 Your dad was so proud of you, as you worked hard on your dream property and sadly he died before seeing your new home becoming a reality. But he saw your huge workshop go up under his guidance. Now it is 2024... and you never gave up on your dream... and that takes guts to keep on going. Rick you have many following you on your yt channel and are proud of you.... but you also need to feel that for yourself as well. Now roll onto the next video 🙂🙂nz*
Thank you so much. I look forward to your comments.
Wow, it's really coming along! And that was a couple months ago. I hope you can move in before winter. Best of luck.
I'm actually running 3 to 4 weeks out on the videos right now Alan. Its hard to do the work and keep up with the editing too, but I'm learning to balance things a little better. Thanks for another visit.
Hey all of you
Hey George. Thanks for stopping by again. Have a great day my Friend.
You & Jamie are going to have good ceiling height in your respective garages 👍.
That sounded like a little Perkins 4cyl in that Reed pump possibly 🤔.
I think that the floors will be coming up quite a bit from what you see now John. I think you're right about the pump engine too.
Rick u & Jaime the inspector general aka Annabelle r going 2 get lost in that big house u'll have 2 put in an intercom system just 2 keep in contact!🤣 So Happy 4 u Guys. God is Good AMERICA 🇺🇸❤️✌️
That's funny George. Jamie and I were actually just talking about the same thing. God is awesome Brother.
I've noticed in some of your videos you might be breathing a little heavy. We want you to get checked out and be healthy
Make a bridge to go over that deep with all your left over metal from the house move to also..
A bridge over the stream is definitely on the menu.
I started watching when you were moving out of your old place. Seems like it was 5 years ago.
We moved out of the old place in the Winter of 2015/2016. The first night we spent on the property was April 1st, 2016. It's been a long road, thanks for coming along.
Getting there rich
Its Rick...my Full-Blooded Italian Grandma named me Rickey, but yes, we are definitely getting there. Thanks for stopping by again my Friend.
this is outside an antique store in summersvillewv
I don't know if you attached a photo, but I don't think you can attach a photo in the comments section. I see nothing.
@@ClassicTruckRescue i can't figure out how to send it
you can email it to me rick@classictruckrescue.com
God IS good, isn't He!
How will the porch be supported? Noticed that there are no concrete pads poured under the porch for vertical supports. Can't wait to see the house and garage set down on the foundation, and see how they handle those anchor bolts.......especially how they determine where the holes will go in the sill plates.
God is Great! As far as the porch supports and other stuff..."FILM@11!" Thanks for watching.
You seemed pretty excited about the foundation under the house - but when they got to the roadhouse garage your voice took on an added dimension. Something special about anticipating what you will do in there. Also noted at the end - there were only 2 beefies. Were the other 2 across the pasture somewhere or have they been "converted"? See you in a couple weeks.
Three Beefies....1-Converted. The other one was probably in the barn feeding its face....and yes, I did start thinking about how cool it will be to start building trucks again....I'm really looking forward to moving into the "RoadHouse Garage". Thanks Daniel.
Will be lowering house soon!!
Very soon. Thanks for stopping by again my Friend.
😊 1:17
Thank you Sir!
😁😁😁😁🙏🙏✌️👍
Thank you Kermit. Call me sometime.
Will you be removing the tree next to the house so in future when it's roots growing don't break your foundation , as their work finishes your work begins , hope this tornado doesn't undo the hard work
I will be trimming it down quite a bit Roger. "FILM@11!"
After the red beams are removed and the house is lowered down what do you put in the openings ? Access doors or mesh venting? Coming along great. I know with the cost of everything this may be a dumb question but think you’ll be living in the house by the end of 2025? Or sooner? Really enjoy the channel. Peace out
I think we will be in the house by Spring of 2025 Lee (God willing). The openings will get filled with cement except for 1 outside acess to the crawlspace. Thanks for the visit.
@@ClassicTruckRescue thank you
Have they built under the fireplace and what supports the porch?
The foundation for the fireplace was assigned to your's-Truly..."FILM@11!"....The porch too.
It shocks me you can put a foundation on top of bare ground. We would have to dig a footing below grade 4 feet minimum. That gap between the halves is bigger than my whole house. Wait till you get the the real estate tax bill. You'll have to take in a couple of renters to pay that bill.
Fred, I hate to bring it up but I have noticed that every single comment you leave has a common theme...."Negativity". Is the gap between the two halves of my house REALLY bigger than your whole house Fred? Because that gap is 20'x20'. If your house is REALLY smaller than the 20-foot by 20-foot section I am adding onto our house, that may be causing you to be uptight. You seem to know every aspect of building literally anything, so I would suggest that you add a nice big porch onto your little house where you can go sit and relax a little bit. Try to have a nice day Fred and Thank you for taking the time to watch, I mean that.
Kinda thought you would put concrete floors in the garages
Coming up soon, or as I often say, "FILM@11!"
You won't know what to do with yourself with all your tools secure and high and dry in the Road House Garage/shop. With a little wood stove your will be warm and spoiled but I don't know anyone who deserves it more than you. Your wife will be beside herself in that house too.
Thank you so much Steve. So close to being in a real shop. I already have two antique wood stoves ready for the shop. Just have to decide...white or blue?
The beavers 🦫 need to be kept in check they will flood your property!!
Younkin' puts them in check if they get too silly.
