what if we have ewm materials , can we use transfer posting to move materials from ewm storage location in one plant to a non ewm storage location in another plant ( for example from main warehouse(EWM) to maintenance storage location (Non EWM))
Use the /SCWM/ADGI transaction from EWM; you must indicate the destination plant and Storage loc.

Under what circumstances we need to do stock transfer order by PO? We can also do transfer postings plant to plant, storage location to SLoc directly by MB1B.

Stock Transfer is a Physical movement of material between plant to plant that's why it requires PO. Supplying plant will send material and receiving plant will receive goods by using this PO document... and Transfer Posting usually involves a change in stock type (Unrestricted to Quality inspection or Blocked Stock), batch number, or material number, release from quality stock to own company unrestricted stock.
WHAT IS THE USE OF SD CONFIG ?? IF YOU ARE USING TRANSFER POSTING . SD CONFIG ARE USED FOR STO WITH PO WITH DELIVERY N BILLING .BUT UNFORTUNATELY

I getting error like "shipping data not maintain for this material" but I maintain everything what to do
in the material master maintain the Transportation group and loading Group (under sales general plant view), you need to maintain this for both the plant..
Also in OVL2 ,maintain the shipping point determination..
you can Create the fresh material also and fill those view....
I will suggest not to keep VEPL VEPO as names next times. It creates more confusion. Keep separate names.
