I work at Amazon I drive Raymond stand up forklift, reach truck, order picker and Center rider. But I feel like the way u pick up those pallet is really better than I do 😁 but I don’t think u have to be good at math

That equipment is actually called a pacer but still has the same mechanisms wheel base and drivability as a regular liquid propane forklift except on a LPG/liquid propane forklift has 3 different levers that operate the mast and fork
As someone who works for Home Depot, I can agree. I’m a propane Forklift and Reach Truck Operator. The Pacer is basically a stand up forklift with the Reach Truck Controls

Why Cosco out of all places? I heard it pays pretty well and I want to try this gig myself. I was told to go to Menards, Lowes or Home Depot to learn how to drive a forklift. I have a bunch of warehouses by me but I think they only hire people with experience and I have to start somewhere? I also have a Cosco near me.
Costco pays well and has great benefits. They will train you for your certification if you don’t have experience, you just have to apply for the position when it opens up after you pass your 90 day review.
We only have to come to a complete stop at main isles where there’s heavy foot traffic and activity. We can honk and drive slower around corners and back isles without stopping.
There’s a pre-use safety inspection, but this video was made for kindergartners, so I didn’t go into complete detail. Glasses are not required at my job while on the lift, but you can wear them if you want.
@@Nachoghoulfriend our PM shift starts at 3 and we usually get out around 12:30 the store closes at 8 so from 3-8 we are zoning and helping members then after close we stock our shifts area.

I notice that you do not come to a complete stop around corners. I thought that stopping is a standard for forklift operators

so do you only work at night? i assume you dont work when customers are in the store?
I work in the early AM. 1am, 2am or 3am till about 9am, 10am or 11am. Yes, no customers until opening time at 10am.
