    First, THIS IS LITERALLY THE PERFECT LEAF 😍😍😍 i followed along pretty easily, while medicating 🙂
    it was about half way through when i began to wonder… what is a “half double”.. isn’t that just one 😩
    then i realized i was just lit and crocheting with deep thought. Thank you for your service !

    That was fun 🙂 I tried it with a light 4 (maybe?) yarn and size G hook. Not quite sure I did it correctly, there seems to be a lil extra space between the stem and leaf area, but not bad otherwise for being a beginner (plus I got to do my first triple crochet stitch☺) 💚😎

      Ok I just have face book. What I did is added 4 chains to the back in a square and worked a granny out from that picking up stitches here and there through the back of the leaf, "sewing " it on. I hope that makes sense. I attached the yarn, chained 4, slip stitch, chain 4, that's one, then then did that in a round. Then like I said started a granny from there

    Thanks, this tutorial was super easy and mine came out pretty cute. I used a 3.5 E hook with a medium (4) cotton yarn in a variegated green and brown color. Going to attempt to turn it into a granny square to add to a blanket I'm making. Also, PS. If you wanna know the botanical terms, the petal-like parts of the leaf are called leaflets and the stem thingy of a leaf is called petiole =)

    Believe it or not, I found this looking for a small maple leaf pattern to follow, lol! I used Crafter's Square Princess Yarn...in burgundy cuz it's all I had in the way of thin yarn, lol, and a 3.5mm hk. It fits in the palm of my hand and the leaflets curl up. I'm def gonna try a heavier weight yarn and bigger hook next. I have absolutely no clue what to do with them once I make a bunch, but it was fun and easy to make, so there's that!

I get frustrated because I see some people create a channel, get their 1000 subscribers and 4000 watch hours within like 6 months. But then I try to remind myself because of my health and not always feeling great, I can't do as many videos as they can and be as active. So I am ok with that.

      You can do more chains for each leaf and add in an extra half double, doubles and triples

      Adia Russell I would use a bigger hook and yarn. Or you adjust the stitch count :)

    • @Dream9Design
      @Dream9Design  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can do a large size yarn and hook. To make one double the size though I feel it would need a change up on yarn weight, hook size and stitch count
