I get tears in my eye's every time I watch this video. Our daughter takes great pride in learning her culture and loves to sing all the time. This is one proud father that had to share with the world. Thank you for viewing the video.
i never tire of watching this video..makes the heart swell with pride no matter what tribe you are from! This is a sure sign that our culture will not die. A beautiful video.
When I watch this it warms my heart.... a few years before this video my grandfather Pat Sr said he wanted his granddaughters to start singing.. because he remembered when the ladies used to sing...
Hy'chka Siem (Thank you) Peter for your comment and sharing this video of our daughter. As her father I always get tears in my eyes every time I hear and watch this video. The best part about this is that the men allowed her to sing in the circle with them which is uncommon. She a strong young girl who loves both sides of her culture. Again, Hy'chka Siem
In some cultures men wont let anyone sing with them or teach any youth, because they want to get paid all the time, so sad, here its powerful a young girl taking lead, thank u for showing her the path
Holay, I never look at the comments. My apologies for not seeing this sooner. This is our going home song. Sung at the end of a potlatch when we start bringing out our gifts to give away.
