I don't know how you did this and how you have access to the most important tapes of my life, but I am more than thankful! This is the most important song in my life and the feelings of pain and being in love it shows are only outplayed by the great rythm section in the verses: It shows what a great feeling for rythm Clapton has or had (even filled with h, coke and these old style tranquilizers a whole lot of a time). Never heard his guitar part so clearly and I've surely need to adjust my own playing a bit after hearing his part so directly... It is amazing! Once again: THANK YOU - you have earned yourself a new subscriber!!! Just a last question: Why did you put a pucture of Carl in it, if he is not on that take? It would be great though, if you could post his bass part separately - another great thing I'd love to hear!!! Best wishes from Hamburg, Germany Philip :-)
I labeled these videos based on the credits listed in the sleeve of the SACD case. Carl Radle was listed as bass on this track, and I mistakenly named this video as HIS bass playing, when it was actually Eric's Rhythm Guitar.
One of the best bass players in rock history, RIP Carl
Thanks for sharing this! Wonder why it's slightly out of tune (I know it's like that in the original, something to do with the tape I guess)

Eric Clapton on guitar, surely?
Yes, I have corrected this. I named these videos based on the SACD’s inside, but this may have been an error. Sorry.
