1. The current economic crisis - Inflation, trade deficit, unemployment, interest rates.
2. The climate of distrust and broad based xenophobia, primarily fueled by vested political affiliations.
3. The absolute reluctance to address issues up front. Rather, proferring up non-issues to stoke a general sense of resentment and misdirection. (Ex. China, Pakistan, Certain demographics)
4. Creating a schism between the ruler and the ruled, to the extent that the average Indian is somewhat befuddled whether democracy truly exists.
I certainly do not blame Mr. Modi for the ills that have befallen the nation. I blame him for not doing enough to quell the jingoism pervading across the country that passes off as nationalism..
I primarily blame those misguided citizens of India who lack the courage to point out hi mistakes, because THAT is what will lead this country toward progress.
Praise him by all means for the good decisions, but call him out for the poor ones.
A great leader only can carry his humble background as a badge of honour. Many try to hide it feeling embarrassed but it’s a great example by our dear PM Modi.

His mother tongue is Gujarati. It will be vanished very soon if people are forced in with Hindi.
Rajasthani speaking rajasthanis are very less today , so are the other languages. Hope this stupidity of having hindi as mother tongue.

But in offices hindi is spoken. but I am fine with it after all it is just a medium of communication.
Also some common things need to be higlighted for unity otherwise with such overwhelming diversity it is very very difficult to govern

And it doesn't mean that I don't respect any other languages. Hindi is the only language which is understand by the large numbers of Indians. I am a Bihari and I am happy that he addressed in Hindi.
@Wumao that's nice you learnt Hindi. That's not what I'm saying, what I'm saying is Highlighting HINDI as a national language is quite incovenient.
There are many languages don't resonate similar to Hindi. Phonetically for an uneducated man of India can never speak or understand Hindi. Forcing Hindi into every nook and corner shouldn't happen rather should be learnt with passion and love.
I'm not from India but my ancestors are. I still have links to southern part of India. I studied engineering in well reputed NATIONAL INSTITUTE of TECHNOLOGY in the north don't ask me which state. (I love my college) In the first year I didn't know a word in Hindi as I'm not familiar with it at all so are the other languages like Marathi Telugu Kannada Bengali Gujarati Rajasthani north eastern languages , I could understand only English since I studied in an English medium and I chose engineering in English medium. I was asked to get out of the class and get back only after learning Hindi. So I was forced to do it as I believed that's the only way I could survive with these professors and not kindle with their ego.
These things don't happen in other south Indian states. There's a difference to promote Hindi and forcing Hindi into someone.
Unity in Diversity is what my sanatan dharma teaches and I stay by it. 😊
Not every Common man in India understands Hindi. Only the northern region
