After capturing some of the best photos of my life with an x100vi I got from preorder this past June, and then shortly selling it afterwards due to it "not being as compact as I'd like", I now have another one on order as of a few weeks ago. I miss the camera and have not stopped thinking about it for 5 months. Great video, this is definitely a "take with you" camera, as opposed to my Sony A7 bodies that require more effort to catalog daily life.
I completely agree! Since we both have a7 bodies I feel the same exact way, and that’s nothing against Sony. Truly love both, but again it’s just easier to bring the Fuji x100vi for daily stuff! Hope you get the x100vi back very soon! 🫡
I did this same exact thing. Had it for a few weeks. Returned it because it’s way larger than expected. Just rebought it now because I couldn’t stop thinking about it.
Glad the algorithm brought me to your channel! I already own x100v and other Fujifilm cameras, but I stayed for your photography. Great work, Man! Do you have presets for sale? Those colors are INSANE.
Hi Brandon, thank you so much for your kind words. I’m glad you enjoyed the video and stayed for the photos. Not selling presets at the moment but will definitely think about in the future! Have a great one
I'm a Fuji X100 (v6) newbie who has bought a proper camera again after many years. Having dived into the subject a bit, I'm wondering if I'm the only one who doesn't understand why Fuji doesn't generate an easy to use exchange format for the ‘recipes’ that you can drag and drop via the Fuji app to save to C1-C7 without having to programme everything by hand? That would be a USP for Fuji for the USP (film simulations). This is also familiar from other digital worlds. Surely it can't be that difficult to create an exchange format that can then be downloaded from Fuji X Weekly, for example, and immediately transferred to the camera? Or am I seeing this wrong?
I forgot which base one that I used, but I took the Kodak portra 400 recepie from Fuji x weekly and fine tweaked it again in post . Appreciate the kind words
