I'm 1 month into learning Spanish and it's exhausting and stressful. At moments i feel like wow I'm really getting this and other moments i'm like i don't know how i'll ever get this but videos like this really help me trust the process. Thank you.
Im just over 3 months I remember the first month gave me headaches so I can relate but I’m seeing from this video that if you persist something clicks around 6-10 months.
Yeah me too and like damn! The conjugations are overwhelming and it's frustrating that when you think you have gotten somewhere, you're completely lost when someone speaks Spanish or when you watch a Spanish speaking video.
This video is very inspiring! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 It’s so encouraging to see the progress that can be made in a short amount of time with consistency and not being afraid to make mistakes! Espero mi progreso puede ser el mismo :)

Just wanted to say thanks for making these videos and your channel. Zero to B2 in a year is super impressive. After 7 years of false starts in Spanish (do I win a procrastination award?) I'm finally taking online classes and determined to get to A2 level in 12 months. It's great to see someone else actually do it.
I loved getting to see all your progress over the year condensed down into one video (also! the editing! so good!) I'm looking forward to seeing your Spanish journey over the next year too!
I love reading an Abigail comment under an Emi video. When thinking about my youtube subscriptions - both your channels always come side by side. I love listening to both of you. Not sure if it comes more from your voices or the way you speak.
this is so inspiring i teared up a little ngl i learned spanish as a second language in college and let me tell you, you learned more in a year than i did in 4 and you retained which is sooo good! im picking back up my studies and am glad i found your lovely channel
'screen recordings' = 'Grabaciones de pantalla'. Seriously you are really learning fast, and your accent is totally on point. Good work! keep going, I think you have a natural talent for language.
hi!! i’m currently learning spanish too-as in, i learned tiny bits in school and then 2 years ago when i first wanted to, but didn’t fully commit! so now i’m back and it’s been maybe, a week? or two? and i’m nowhere close to being good LOL but i really love this video and it instills a lot of confidence in me! seeing u so excited about learning actually motivates me to keep going! thank you so much
Way to go! Your accent is really good and even from the beginning I don't know but it sounded very natural for learning Spanish, it's amazing to see your progess after just one year!! Iv'e been learning for over a year and hope to never stop improving. cheers!

Wow, B2 is an impressive level of competence for one year. While I was watching this and I got to the point where you registered I thought "B2? Is she sure that's a good idea....?"....well, you sure showed me, haha! You're awesome for pulling that off.
This is inspiring honestly. I started to learn Spanish in summer 2023 with the basics , but then I procrastinated for months. And I have been working on my Spanish for the past 2 months now ( by the end of 2023 I restarted ) , I find Spanish super difficult because of the complex grammar . But I will be try, I set a goal to achieve level of B1 by the end of this year 2024. I’m so excited. It’s hard but I think it’s worth it, thank u so much for the video
Its really inspiring that you put yourself out there when starting from zero! It takes a lot of courage and you made such amazing strides! Felicidades! Te mereces tu recompensó!
Perfect! Just the video I was looking for. It's new year and one of my goals for this year is to learn Spanish at the end of it. Your video gives me so much motivation, it's just been two days and I'm loosing interest and motivation, but watching your video makes me feel like, if you can do it, I can do it too. Gracias!
I am learning Italian at the moment and would like to get to intermediate then after I am going to learn French or Spanish you have encouraged me to learn Spanish as it sounds so beautiful. Well done.

This is so encouraging! I have tried my best to speak spanish but haven’t passed that threshold and it always feel like I hit this ceiling and can’t learn anymore. It’s honestly really frustrating and I hardly leave comments like this😭 thank you for showing vulnerability. It’s really awesome to know I don’t have to be perfect at it. I will keep trying, even though this process has emotionally zapped me (and I want to be able to teach my family but it’s way more complicated than what I expected). I thank God for you, sis!
Your journey is truly inspiring. I accidentally came across your channel looking for Spanish material. I also lived in Japan, and then Mexico. And I love watching your videos having many of the same references as you, and I feel like I'm not alone with the challenges of learning a language (especially living in a country where they don't speak it). I am also working up to a B2 level, since I want to return to Mexico. These videos are so fun and realistic and cute. Keep up the good work!:)
I’m learning now and am a therapist wanting to provide services in Spanish. This was great 🤩 I’m about to be on year two and my goal at the end of year two is to be able to conduct a session in Spanish
