We really needed to see how well it tracks when he's moving away/toward the camera in one shot. This video shows him mostly at the same distance during the whole the thing
instead of song and the singer i love the face detected ,,,, i am sure there is no plugin such cosmo for make smoother or just some color corrections ( i love canon c300 mkII make me to think about to buy :) i use canon 5d mark 4 for music clips BUT this is something thank you for sharing
Love Mike Lindup ( and Level 42 when he's working with them) . This location doesn't look like London, or at least not in the historic, crowded sidewalks and streets of touristy and big business London . I'd be grateful if someone can tell me exactly where this video was shot. please, any and all , replies !
+JoeCnNd Sony has it, but is camera operator induced. On the new PXW-FS5 it uses each face as the hard stops for focus pulling. So when you crank focus it will go to/from each face. So for steadicam/gimbal scenarios, you'd have to use the tablet app to pull focus or use a wireless geared follow-focus. On the A7RII (7-series in general) you can register a face so it prioritizes THAT face.
this has to be the lowest budget music video I've ever seen, ha! if your reading this Mike, don't take it personally I love the work you did with Level 42
Better track than all level 42 tracks released on Retroglide and Sirens together! Shows that Mark King needs the influences of Mike (or anyone else)! Mike can be the new Al Jarreau!
What could have been. Instead of half the band striving to be bracketed with wet eighties fodder like Go West, Johnny Hates Jazz and, er, Wet Wet Wet, they could have been in the vanguard of the acid-jazz movement and found new esteem from trailblazing through another decade, instead of middle-of-the-roading-it with songs about children, families, and laboured social commentary, before becoming a routine tribute band.
This is class! Love the arrangement.
Very Donald Fagen! Love it!
Love the overall look that the C300 mkII captured. Always good to hear Mike Lindup's voice and to see him mobile and not surrounded by keyboards!
Great song and having met him about 50 times over the last 38 years, a great bloke too!
You lucky man!
@@elizabethmcleod246 Met him at my first gig in April 81 and seen the band another 64 times since then!
Julian Hall You are a diehard fan. Wow!
..Grreat song.. :-) I love this song.. hope there's more to come... thank you, Mike!
This is this best song you'll hear today.
+Brian St. John Ditto---very good stuff---reminds me of the music from New York Voices---
Very, very great song, and I love all your albums Mike!!!
I LOVE THIS SONG!!
This is such a class song.
Just come across this while going down memory lane with level 42 tracks. Love it, nice one Mike 👍👍
Absolutely Fantastic
Great stuff from a top bloke. It's always a pleasure Mr Lindup.
Cool video, excellent sounds ..
Where is he walking in London? Does anyone know. It’s 2023 and I still love this!
His face looks damn good to me !
Great song Mr Lindup x
Smooth song! Don’t know why I’m just hearing it now. Love the video too
Oooo. This is good.

It would have been interesting testing the switch between one face to another

Any chance of a downloadable version on Vimeo to do a grade?
What lens did you use?
wow.
really nice work.
which lens was used?
Nice video! Did you use a gimbal to stabilize the shot?
1:12 Breel Embolo
it would be nice if they made a face recognition where if someone else looks at the camera it won't try to pull focus to the other person.

+Andrew Lockwood Well, fuck man. Why are we wasting out time with it?

They are a team...the guys collaborate.
