i LOVE Jojo, i remember being extremely sad when Ben picked Lauren instead, but honestly it was the best thing that could've happened, now her and Jordan are THRIVING and im living for it
It’s so disingenuous and cringe that contestants are compelled to say, “I’m falling for you” around hometowns or they are sent home.
But at the same time, it they’re not feeling it by that point, they won’t make it to an engagement by the end. So it’s a legitimate weed-out step, I think 🙂
Despite all the crazy moments of that season, Jojo's gut didn't fail her. She dodged a lot of bullets with some of those guys and picked someone perfect for her despite the audience not being able to see it at the time. I certainly remember distrusting Jordan when I (half) watched this season. But glad they're still together, they seem like such a great match.
Okay, but Jojo, Rachel, and Becca have been some of the best Bachelorettes. 🤷♀️
I Felt So bad for Robbie, Peter and especially Blake! You are deff right! Good tv! Peter had me bawling my eyes too

Jojo and Kaitlyn are my fav seasons. Whilst I love Becca, Garrett is so problematic. I liked Rachel’s season until the messy ending with Peter, it felt like she wanted to pick him and then she was mean to him after it aired.
And Hannah Brown
Ali and Jojo were my 2 favorite.
Can we also talk about the incredible lack of diversity from this season? I get the producers want to pick people they know the lead will be attracted to, but my god the men from this cast looked like carbon copies of an off-brand Ken doll...
But why waste a few spots casting people they knew the lead probably wouldnt fall for
@@lammmf How would they know she wouldn't fall for someone of a different race unless she is racist? (not calling her racist but) Discounting groups of people just because of their skin color is not the move. Also clearly some of these spots could've been given to someone who actually wanted to find love (maybe he was a different race, maybe not) instead of testosterone-pumped man-children.
I go back and forth on this. My worry is having a POC having to compete on what is essentially a "white" show like this, Love Island, etc. POC on this show rarely get picked and it can be demoralizing to have to constantly be avoided for the Ken's and Barbies and to literally be casted just for minority points. In an ideal world sure! It just comes across as disingenuous especially when it's obvious the lead never dated outside their race before. But at the same time, it could always be a pleasant surprise? I don't know.

Watching this back, it's no wonder I found Wells & Evan to be a breath of fresh air amidst the sea of gym-obsessed, alpha-male, same-haircut-having, boat-shoe bros.
I was really iffy about Jordan at first but I don’t think the show really showed his personality well enough. Now I love Jojo and Jordan. They’re one of my favorite couples ever and they’re TH-cam channel is really cute

I agree because when I was watching the season during the original airing, Jordan seemed so fake to me (maybe too good to be true and full of cliches). Now that it’s so long later and they are together I was able to watch Monday’s abbreviated recap with new eyes. I’m glad it worked out for them because they really did get a lot of backlash after filming.

Really? I just watched the season and I don't see why people were so hard on him. From what I could see he was nothing but kind and respectful to everyone in the house except when they gave him shit. And he always lit up whenever he was around her. I wasn't really in any doubt he was in love with her.
Jojo & Rachel are my two favorite bachelorettes so far. Also, are they really not doing Rachel’s season for the GOAT series?

@@ezpg3d860 yeah, I mean, I love both of them equally like, Sean and Catherine are obviously my favorite proposal besides Jojo and Jordan and they have a beautiful family but, I absolutely loved Rachel's season, I really enjoyed Rachel's season, Sean's season didn't have much going on, entertainment wise, like as much as Rachel's season, which is why I liked it more although Tiara was very entertaining lol 🤣🤣🤣

Agree with the first 2. Rachel lost me with the very messy Peter break up, it really felt like she just wanted him but he had legitimate concerns about going to fast... and she dragged him for it. Obviously it’s worked out for her, but I felt she lacked grace in that moment and in the press afterwards.
When in doubt, be a unicorn i remember wanting her with peter so bad, but i thnk she didn’t want to be the first black bachelorette who also didn’t get a proposal

Arguably the best season ever, perfect amount of drama, romance, awkward cringe and overall rememberable guys and a couple in love at the end
I'm really upset they didnt include Rachel's season among the greatest of all. It's the first season where they had a very diverse cast and each one of them had their own unique personality. Look at Josiah, Eric or even Will, they are anything but vanilla. And Rachel as the bachelorette was A+++, say what you want about her but you cant deny that she was assertive and knew what she wanted. Her confidence soothes out of the screen which is why people fell for her back then. Even after having a great season, the show didnt manage to get the viewership it aimed which is concerning and makes me less excited for Matt's season
They didn’t have the rights to her or Emily’s season, so they can’t play it.

A couple of years ago I worked in Luke P’s apartment building and I had no idea who he was because I didn’t watch the show then... but he was always very nice and respectful! He had a girlfriend at the time and they seemed to be very in love from what I saw. Anyways, he really isn’t a bad guy.
Side note, I also met Jed Wyatt on a walk at the park and didn’t realize it was him either until I got home 🤣

I disliked how Bachelor capitalized air time with the problematic Chad. For domestic abuse survivors watching him can be very triggering. That said. I love Jojo. She is and always will be one of the favorites to many.
As a survivor of abuse, watching Chad just made me see the exact meaning of the term “man-child”
Chad is insanely attractive, but the guy gets so drunk and becomes so awkward/creepy/violent. You can get the full view of what someone like that is like.
I think Chad is a very important character to watch. My abuser ex just looks like a bumbling alcoholic idiot, loser to me now.

JoJo definitely has a type. Talk, buff, blond. Chase seemed like a major douche when he got sent home. And Robbie looked like he had a wig on. Jordan was clearly the best looking and best overall dude.

What the hell chad literally minded his own business he tried to stay to himself and people kept provoking him and antagonizing him.. I really liked Chad he’s funny as hell but let’s be real if someone comes up to you every minute and every day starting a fight with you asking you about your character judging you and just keep poking you eventually you’re going to poke back I’m surprised he didn’t punch anyone in the face he must’ve really liked her to only talk shit back and not do anything lol
ABC left out so many of the dramatic elements of the season (Luke pulling JoJo before the rose ceremony, Chase coming back to the rose ceremony, Jordan not asking for permission to propose, JoJo’s family reactions and her conflict with them, etc). I suppose they had to pick and choose for the recap but I thought a lot was left out of this one.
Had too much of Chad and not enough of this!
