Radical. Love the DIY Tactical aesthetic.

I modified a type 56 added buckles replace the flaps with longer leather ones it's a pretty nice way to carry 8 standard AR mags looks groovy goes with the LRRP vibe.
I have a hand crank shoe patch machine and it allows me sew velcro into very small existing pouches, it might be worth looking into one if you're planning on doing any more gear modification.

@@roberttaylor4108 are you talking about one of the leather shoe sewing machines, Amazon sells hand crank ones for like a 100 bucks.

That is a very big dangler pouch I feel it'll get in the way when moving

@@KK-fb9nz I’ve used it quite a bit with mostly medical/first aid supplies inside, as long as it’s not to heavy you don’t really notice.

Ive been curious about using/sewing small rare earth magnets for pouch closures. No zip/rip/snap/noise at all, do you see any downsides?

@@child_warlord they would have to be strong magnets, it would stick to weapons and mags ammo, anything that even slightly was magnetic would stick. They can also demagnetize given a good smack.

@MaximusOverhead fair enough, I just wanted to see where that road would lead.
Unrelated, now I need a sewing machine (well rounded 😉)

Where does thr "Raid mod" term come from?

@@fmjmanarroyo1342 from my understanding, it’s from when guys would retro fit or modify gear in the field to better suit their missions. LRRP in Vietnam did this a bunch with chicom equipment.
