This is an improvement indeed. Except possibly the highlights above the subject's lip and on the nose; they seem too bright in the edit. Maybe a bit more saturation on them might bring them back into balance with the rest of the photo. For the rest yours is a quite excellent rendering. I feel I'm being too critical though. Must be this blistering hot weather. Bedankt voor de video. Ik ga kijken wat ik zelf kan doen met deze prachtige foto. Ik heb nog heel, heel veel te leren over darktable.
Feel free to be as critical as you like. We're here to learn from each other and photography is subjective so we don't even have to agree. :) Graag gedaan! Ik hoop dat je de videos handig vindt.
The image has been improved for sure. The choice of contrasting colors is pleasant and pretty common nowadays. Everybody copies popular color expressions from Hollywood and Disney, probably without thinking about it. The repeated brainwash from the media will make us do that. One detail I would avoid to enhance in this image is the contrast between the model's neck and the background. That line is natural but partly takes away my attention from the face behind the hair stripes - with the ear as the outermost peripheral point of interest. I would find an excuse for dimming that part of the image - or at least not enhance it, which could backfire? (I haven't tried, as I am uncomfortable with signing up for more promotional input to my mailbox).
such vision very good
thanks!

Good one Eigil. By the way, you should be able to download the photo without creating an account.
@@RawPhotographyTutorials Yes I can! One of my most time saving excuses is gone ;O.
