Those “failures” and “mistakes” that I had so harshly criticized myself about actually became true gifts as soon as I started saying O.O.P.S. Try saying Oops in an angry tone. It makes it even more silly! I just can’t take myself seriously when I say Oops which is just what I needed to play. I began to play, to have fun, and to embrace all of my “mistakes”.

I like to use corks as handles for small cardboard stamps. I will flip them over now, and use the gel plate! Great suggestions, thanks!

I made a stamp out of hot glue. I want to use it to paint my floor. It worked but not as great as I was hoping. Your tips with flipping it over to flatten it out , should be just the trick I needed. Awesome tips thanks so much!!

Great technique, especially the way to flatten the hot glue designs. Another crafter irons hers through a cloth on top. Going to share your vid with her. Your prints are beautiful! TFS!

I made my own glue gun stamps and I love the bumpies and wavies in mine BUT the second plate was needed for sure.
I will say that I did learn to have something soft under my paper to stamp on, that helps to transfer the paint directly but I learned the hard way.
I can't wait to get home and make more and do it your way so I will get better results. thanks for the super great tips!!!!
When doing the larger one you could do it in sections and flip after each

Carolyn, thank you for this. I can't wait to try this with my kids. We just made a gel plate the other day and are loving it! Could you please tell me what sort of glue gun this is? Our glue guns don't flow like this. I was thinking you rs is a high temp glue gun? Can't wait to watch all your vids.

It just needs to be something the hot glue won't stick to - maybe put a thin thin layer of vaseline on a piece of glass to be sure it won't stick?
