I have omega and rolex. I love the seamaster 300, PO, PLO P. However, reduce your limited editions, few are great not too meny. It devalues the core models and make changes to core models more subtle
Made better than Rolex no questions. Rolex is better at making it harder to get their watches. Rolex has a better marketing strategy, Omega has a better watch
Jean Claude Biver was the man who helped shape the modern Omega company. Nobody since has done much......... Perhaps the Co-Axial escapement is cheap to manufacture in the numbers Omega does annually.
I bought an Omega Seamaster automatic chronograph (ref 25012100) in 1999 and the next year the clasp pin failed, the clasp came apart and the watch came off. Luckily I found the watch after swimming around the bottom of the reef. I had the pin replaced in the clasp and again, in less than a year, the clasp pin failed . This is a real design flaw, either the material is inferior or inappropriate or the pin is too slender. I have not used the watch since . Has Omega remedied this flaw? That is not a very iconic feature in an expensive watch, and i would not consider purchasing another omega product. it was costly to repair and Omega seemed cavalier about my problem. Think carefully before you purchase one- either get a better bracelet or don't use it if you are in a boat or a dive where it could sink to the bottom of the ocean never to be found by you again. Omega did not care about the problem.

Great interview but the sound for the title slides is really jarring.
Omega's inhouse movements put Rolex to shame!
Please put out a 38mm Master Chronometer 300M.

"Rubbishness and elegance"? What the hell does that mean? 7:10
RickP2012 he actually says “robustness and elegance” but with a Swiss accent
