You can actually access the equity without having an access bond. I don't really agree wit TT that you need to have an access bond to access the equity

I was really expecting the moon seeing as TT is an apparent proclaimed investor in real estate but seeing him talk against equity release which is something every astute real investor uses to grow their portfolio and also not talk about how getting a cashflowing property from the beginning with consideration to inflation can safe guard you, I can only imagine what advice he is giving to Sbu in their property company,but to answer such, yes equity release can be used to buy more property just based on value increase of an existing property hence why when buying you should also consider buying under valued properties so you benefit from the appreciation and be inflation "safe".
I was expecting a masterclass. I don't think he's got top class knowledge of this space. I believe he'll get there.

It's a good thing to have this property show Sbu. I know I might get smoke for this but TT does not come across as someone who has in-depth knowledge of the property space. He's got the platform, he's got the connections, he's got the friends (celebrities) but I'm not sure about the knowledge. Unless maybe if he is someone who cannot express himself well. I was underwhelmed. I am inspired by his property journey and his ideas for sure.
True that. The man has connections or should I say he has the resources, but there's still room for improvement as far as knowledge is concerned. Unless otherwise the man is protecting he's bread and butter, and doesn't want to share more information.

Is it true that when you want to buy property the seller chooses the lawyer and you pay them ? (Property transfer Papers)

It depends if the property is owned by the bank or the owner has full authority over the property, meaning if owner has a title deed and the property is not owing.
The owner chooses the transfer lawyers if they don't owe the property, but those lawyer or conveyors are only responsible for transfer the property to your name. There's also lawyers that gets chosen by your bank if the property is financed that are responsible for registering the property under your name once it's transferred from the buyer to your name.
You pay both the transferring and registering lawyers, which is a bit costly and usually not financed by banks, unless they applied for more than what you required. Meaning, let's say the property is 700K and they apply for 800K for you. You can use that 100k to pay for lawyers fees.
