GOD BLESS AMERICA AGAIN i’m 93 years old now a Korea veteran when i see arlington cemetery think about all the lives and family members and what they gave for our freedom disrespect to our flag it makes me cry thanks Bobby Bear for your song
Bobby had this old Veteran crying. I did 8 months in Vietnam in 1971 and 1972. Daddy was in WWII. He had done his year that he was drafted for and was to get his discharge on Monday, December 8th, and we all know what happened on the 7th, so he didn't get his discharge until the war was over. My brother was in the Army, too, but at the time he went in, they weren't using guys with his MOS. Love this music. Thank you, Larry and Bill. Dan 🇺🇸
I am 56 Now, I used to hear a lot of songs like this on my Parents Old Philco Radio They have a Microwave there now and they don't listen to the Radio much anymore. The Country Music Station here near Asheboro North Carolina went out of Business. It is Rock 92 now. It used to be W.C.S.E.
Was this filmed in 2015ish? We’ve lost several of these folks since then. Jim Ed, Jean, Jimmy Capps, Jan, Joey Feek, and just recently, Nora, may all of them rest easy in the presence of the Lord Jesus.
God bless America again , ❤ Phyllis Katrina , ❤ Edgar Gainey , ❤ Daniel Hill Dominique , ❤ Danny Lee Ulvila , ❤ Jeremiah Johnson , ❤ Jennifer Sturdivant , ❤ Larry Gainey
How can you have a happy Memorial Day when it is a day to remember the Dead? That is a time for solemn feelings. It is better to say have a safe Memorial Day.
Interesting observation you made. I was a young Marine grunt in Vietnam. Memorial Day is the only day of the year that I allow myself to sit and remember, and recall the memories of my buddies who didn't make the flight on the great freedom bird back to "the world". Just this past Memorial Day, I was greeted with "happy memorial day"! They meant well, their tone wasn't sarcastic. I didn't say anything, just kept walking. But as I headed to my truck, I kept thinking, what the hell is so happy about this one holiday? But, I also realize that to many, if not most, it's just another day off work, for grilling and drinking. Be well. God bless.
I really enjoy these shows but I have one problem with them. It seems as if it is the same people most of the time. Whether it be gospel , country or bluegrass Larry and Bill seems to invite the same people. I recntly watched one show where John Berry was on and someone asked him how come you have not been on before? He replied: I have never been asked! I am not complaining just making an observation. I love Bluegrass, Gospel, Country and contemporary so not really fussed. By the way I am Australian not American so seeing some of these stars is a joy to me but the same ones?
if they have the same ones two many times it gets a littlle boreing, like jimmy capps i know jimmy has passed on but he is on here and joey is on here and her kid is a big kid now,
Love this.song.Looking for America ! God Bless us all! From Philippines.

So sad we have lost such wonderful people. Nora left her beautiful daughter that resembles her to a T.
Rory was definitely an angel on earth.
Bobby Bare was inducted into the Country Musuc Hall of Fame in 2013, so that tells you when this was filmed

This "Holiday" is not an actual Holiday. It's set aside to remember those that have passed on in battle, especially.
Great Bobby!
