The shows up at the battle where is my grandson, Harry’s tells her he was dwelling with someone she says I must go and assist. She survives the battle with him. In books it’s says beaming with with how proud she is of him. I love this part

Well she wasn't always so supportive she used to bash him for not being like his parents/father. His uncle used to torment him and his grandmother made him use his father's wand. It was only when he got into the army did he start to improve with a new wand, iy then she became supportive.
I love Neville's character. I always thought it was so well written. Everytime I read Deathly Hallows I get chills when Neville explains what happened at Hogwarts and I still think that though Harry, Hermione and Ron's journey was dangerous and hard it's nothing compared to what Neville has been through. You gotta be joking. That's objectively wrong. For a start, nobody wanted Neville dead. I guess Hogwarts wasn't fun at all, but I feel like fans have made a scenario in their mind that is way worse than the reality. They were just these two horrible teachers that punished and abused students but the other teachers were still there trying to protect them and none of the DA members we saw seemed particularly traumatized, they just hated them. When Harry came back, we could seem the unconscious Carrow sister being treated like a joke by the Ravenclaw and McGonagall being supremely unafraid when speaking to other. I guess everything was fine when the Carrows were not there. They were like Umbridge on crack. And later Neville & co managed to escape and spend time hidden together. I like Neville a lot, but with comments like this he's seriously overrated.

I can't recall any joining except for Malfoy, Crabb, Goyle, and Draco obviously did not want to. That and they were usually depicted with a bit of a bully streak, with few escaping it.
Neville is my very favorite character. He started off so weak in magic. But that was probably he used his dads wand which did not choose him, if you noticed when he got a new wand he became stronger and braver.

Knowing that his gran told him she was proud of him, he was like his parents, and to keep fighting must have made his heart swell up. In the movie Lavender dies in the battle, BUT, in the books, which are canon in comparison to the films, Lavender most likely survives, and I believe she does because: 1) When Lavender and a couple hours fell from one of the towers, she survived. Then before Fenrir Greyback could hurt Lavender, Hermione blasted Greyback off of Lavender's "feebly stirring body". Meaning she was still alive and that her body was moving, weakly, but still moving. 2) After the battle when Harry is talking about the different students and adults who died during the battle, Lavender's name is not mentioned. Now if she would've died then her named would've been mentioned just like Colin Creevey's name was and we know Harry wasn't a big fan of Colin, plus Lavender was Ron's ex gf so Harry would've said her name if she died. 3) It is not specifically said that she died, and it did not specifically say if she ended up dying from her injuries not. People claim jk* said Lavender ended up dying from her wounds but after everything about jk* came out, I don't care about anything she says. Plus, I did my research and there is no article or anything where jk* says this information. So, I like to believe that Lavender survives the battle, eventually recovers from her injuries, and goes on to fulfil her dreams and finds true love like she deserves.

neville, luna, and ginny were done dirty by the movies. in the books, there was a phase when hermione was the only one who can out-jinx neville (probably aside from harry) in their DA meetings. i also LOVED how he took over the DA when the trio was hunting down horcruxes. looking back, i feel so proud of neville and i hate the movies for depriving us of seeing his growth. + i also love how their generation had an order of the phoenix of their own

Harry and Neville really lived up as the "Child in the Prophecy", though Harry was the Chosen One. Still, these two became the prominent leader(s) among the new generation that fought against Voldemort.

I would have enjoyed The Deathly Hallows much more if there was more focus on Neville, Luna & Ginny and their fight for Hogwarts & the DA.

This is why Neville is my chosen one. He grew into himself and by book five, he was exceedingly brave. Knowing that his gran told him she was proud of him, he was like his parents, and to keep fighting must have made his heart swell up. He deserved to have been the one who killed Nagini with Harry's sword. My boy Neville. And Luna was amazing and so was Ginny!

I love that Neville, also born at the end of July whose parents fought Voldemort,was able to step into a leadership roll in The Deathly Hallows! Both he and Harry were uniquely suited for their parts, both having suffered and overcome adversity and, of course, both being born under the sign of Leo✨ As a person with a deep interest in astrology, I love the way JKR paid attention, consciously or not, to those little details💁🏼♀️
Technically Harry was the only one born "as the 7th month dies" (July 31 vs Neville's July 30) thus the only one who fitted the prophecy perfectly. And after Voldemort attacked the only one who fitted the prophecy at all. But yeah...

neville was the hero at the end in fiirst harry potter movies when he helped gryfindor to win the tiebreaker and also hero in the last movie by disintegrating nagini in the air, he is a true hero😐
I really liked the scene in the movie where Neville stood up to the Death Eaters in the train and said, "Hey losers he is not here". He is my most favourite character in the Harry Potter series followed by Sirius Black and Luna Lovegood.

In the movie Lavender dies in the battle, BUT, in the books, which are canon in comparison to the films, Lavender most likely survives, and I believe she does because:
1) When Lavender and a couple hours fell from one of the towers, she survived. Then before Fenrir Greyback could hurt Lavender, Hermione blasted Greyback off of Lavender's "feebly stirring body". Meaning she was still alive and that her body was moving, weakly, but still moving.
2) After the battle when Harry is talking about the different students and adults who died during the battle, Lavender's name is not mentioned. Now if she would've died then her named would've been mentioned just like Colin Creevey's name was and we know Harry wasn't a big fan of Colin, plus Lavender was Ron's ex gf so Harry would've said her name if she died.
3) It is not specifically said that she died, and it did not specifically say if she ended up dying from her injuries not. People claim jk* said Lavender ended up dying from her wounds but after everything about jk* came out, I don't care about anything she says. Plus, I did my research and there is no article or anything where jk* says this information.
So, I like to believe that Lavender survives the battle, eventually recovers from her injuries, and goes on to fulfil her dreams and finds true love like she deserves.

1:42 I like this scene, behind Neville there are two girls that look exactly as Eleanor Columbus and Charlotte Skeoch, the girls who played Susan Bones and Hannah Abbott. I think both characters were underrated and unnecessary left behind for films, both had a nice story.

I feel it is wrong there was not at least a couple Slytherins in the DA. With all the jokes of Puffs being friends with Slytherins, not one had a friend they know they could trust? After all Slytherin's value ambition, cunning, leadership, and resourcefulness. Sounds like a good description of Harry to me.

neville, luna, and ginny were done dirty by the movies. in the books, there was a phase when hermione was the only one who can out-jinx neville (probably aside from harry) in their DA meetings. i also LOVED how he took over the DA when the trio was hunting down horcruxes. looking back, i feel so proud of neville and i hate the movies for depriving us of seeing his growth.
+ i also love how their generation had an order of the phoenix of their own
