How to use a XBOX 360 SLIM power block for car audio(12VDC) power supply/homemade shop boombox

  • I show you how to use a XBOX 360 slim power supply for car audio or any other 12vDC needs. The yellow is positive black and brown ground. Red is your 5VDC and blue is the single for 12VDC to be sent.

    My power supply keeps on giving the red light instantly when connecting it to my heaviest amp, is it too heavy for the power supply? I've got the 150w 12a, so it's the smallest one. My other two amps work fine with this method

    E-mail me what's the grey or white wire for I hooked up the yellow wires to red yellow for the black wires for ground I turned ny car stereo on power supply light turns red with the red and blue wire connected

    Need your help man, i followed everything you did to power my car amplifier at home and it worked fine.. till recently it stop working and now When I turn it on it shows a red light?? Can you help me fix it please

    the power supply works fine initially until my car amp switches from protect mode to powered on mode and then it switches red. I'm gonna try "jumping" the amp just to get it to the powered on mode from a car battery and then connecting the power supply after it is on fully will work.
