My dad worked at Schramm factory in West Chester, PA for nearly 30 years until he retired in the mid 90’s. Every Rotadrill went through his test department. At one time it was a classic family owned business. They had a good reputation.

Awesome job! Nice to see this side of the business. And I could probably guarantee you're the only guy on TH-cam showing this type of content. Thanks so much for posting

Nice job .... glad to see an American Co making a good quality, less expensive replacement part ... never worked a drill, but know that maintenance, cleaning, lubing hard working parts and machines make things run smoother and safer ... I worked for a big irrigation co in college, friends 2nd generation family business ... we knocked off at noon on Fridays and went back to the shop, he bought lunch and we spent to the afternoon cleaning and maintaining our heavy equipment ... cleaning service trucks and inventorying and stocking pipe/parts/tools .... then over to his house for a relaxing swim in the pool ... both he and his Dad were pilots, so safety and "check lists" were respected ... that schooling paid off for me as a builder for 30 years, Friday afternoons were spent cleaning/organizing/securing job sites, tools, trucks and getting a rough plan and materials lists for the following week so everyone was "on board" ... new guys got an education and were made to feel like an important part of the "Team" ... keeping an open mind that even some new guys had good ideas .... and BTW, your well pump vids are an invaluable resource for servicing/replacing well equipment ... I always learn something new or important ... so thanks !!

Good job. Quality work. I left the oil patch in 1980 and I don’t miss the heat and exertion. But I did like the paydays.💲😃💲

The rig looked similar to the drill rig I was on when the well caved in the front up in the air it caved and made a giant sink hole it was the first and hopefully the last time I see the earth in layers🤞. a lot of concrete to fill it in and cutting the pipe with too trackter chain to the front end. Can definitely be a little chilly. Doesn't every thing coast more then a car in this line of work 😅 nothing cheap🤬. If you don't have to tale out or in the steal drill pipe💪 it not to bad almost easy 👍👌✌️💯🌊💧

We just replaced our 80ft well pump technically we took it out twice but now that we finally got it running and our water is still brown how long can I take to go clear again?

Run it a few hours each day from a hose, it takes 2-5 days to settle down

You guys just do mud rotary for the overburden and then switch to a dth for rock? Just notice the plastic casing on some of the other videos and wondering if you’re hitting the casing with an underreamer, or just dropping it in?

I'm not in control of the commercials. That's TH-cams way of pushing viewers to pay for TH-cam premium. It's definitely worth the $10
