I’m LOVING the videos of women who are encouraging other women!! I’m one of those women whose letting go of her 400 sq ft space and moving into my car to save $$ to pay debt! Thank you so much!! ❤❤❤
I would like to suggest if I may, and of course not knowing your situation or if you own your 400 sq ft space is to perhaps rent it out and then move into your car if you can, so that you can always move back into your space if you need/want to.
I would suggest you look into Debtors' Anonymous and Underearners' Anonymous free support groups to deal with your debt. I am on yr 5+ in my car due to a medical disability. I wouldn't recommend going homeless for most folks.
@@aviewer9516Although it's a good idea for some homeowners, not all nomads want to have to worry about getting things fixed at "home with renters" if they're 4 or 5 states away. Have a Happy New Year🙂
Of you do that.. please see if you can find a clever company that will give you good advices to insulate your van !! Or even do it for you.. I have seen and heard plenty people complaining about the cold in van’s!!! It’s awful!! Dripping water on the van’s walls turning into ice.. So what you have decided is perfect!! But only if you prepare your van to keep you warm and toasty.. if a frozen climate come .. well what is perfect for winter is the same for summer hot days.. insolation is main question!!
What a happy positive woman! I love the way she fixed her transit connect. She has inspired me to be a future part time nomad as I do love and enjoy my home after being for a few weeks. Thumbs up to her 👍👍👍😀
The craftsmanship, material selection, and overall design were inspiring. Marie's tour was a pleasure to see. Thank you Bob and Marie for sharing your vision.
Marie I love the efficiency of your vehicle. You have just what you need. I will be 66 soon and was encouraged by you to try camping in a rented van. YAY! For retired teachers! I recently retired from 30 years of public school teaching. One of the first things I did was purchase a Ford Transit Cargo Van and we did a no-build van build. My husband and I love it!
Such an informative channel. I find that many of the women that are living the nomad life are strong, courageous, intelligent and fiercely independent. So inspiring!
In most pet stores you can buy pine pellet kitty litter. The brand name is "Feline Pine" but there are generic brands available too depending on the store. My cat is 13 years old and I have been using it since he was a baby. It is very true that when it gets wet it breaks down into sawdust and has little smell. Plus it lasts longer as the sawdust dries out and unlike clay litter, it doesn't get lumpy and stay wet. I'm glad someone finally talked about it.
@@nomadicgoddess3648 that's good to know. I am sure I can find an equine supply near me somewhere. Amazing how the price goes up when advertised for cats...

Rather than selling my house and living on the money I would make from the sale, I wanted to have property to provide security for myself and for my adult children if they ever need a home base. I think it’s so inspiring that we are exploring new ways of being on this life journey. Thanks Bob, for helping us move outside the “box” into the beautiful unknown!

I use the compressed wood pellets in my squatty potty in my tiny camper for both numbers. LOL. For #2, I sprinkle a little more pellets over the deposit to dehydrate the solid, as well as deodorize it. I remove the biodegradable bags every morning, and deposit it in a Diaper Genie, controls odor as well as stores the bags until I can get to a large trash container. Once I build out my short bus I will be using a self made compost toilet, with the pellets in the jug for the liquids, so no spills. Nice build, looks nice and comfy!
I love seeing these small cargo van builds. And I loved her attitude. Just bought myself Ram Promaster City and getting ready to furnish it (keeping it simple, more like a no build build) and heading south for the winter for the first time after dreaming about it for five or more years. I did the same thing as her going back and forth in my mind about what to get. Fuel efficiency (with gas prices such as they are) won out over space.

I moved to a Transit, medium high and long because of mobility issues. Before I was in a truck bed shell and before a Jeep Patriot. Always a no build build. I love these sizes for ease of parking anywhere. A lot of Canadian places don't let RVs park on the street but I've never had an issue. happy travels.

I only have 2006 Ford e250 with almost 300,000 miles on it but I'm going to put me and my dog in and go for it. Life is to short. Thanks for the added inspiration! I'm an older women that's been my only draw back...
Super build! I love how tidy this is. And what a great message! Just do it!
I luv seeing you laugh Bob and seeing your smile. Great tour, great van, i luv that lil connect too. I cannot decide what van to buy. I agree why not start small, see if you like it, figure what's important and your needs are first before spending lots of money! I think I will do the same
Ahh WOW...what a pleasure and BOB you're so right... INSPIRED!
Awesome and encouraging!
Love all the colors inside and out. Great job.
Another inspiring woman out there living her best life.😊😊
The Red is a great color choice
She has such great energy and I really like her build. If I were single I think I would try to go for transit connect
Thank you Marie and what a wonderful and talented person you are. Really enjoyed you sharing.

Love the little table and how she stores her table leg
Thankyou Marie!! Thanks Bob!! Love this transit!!🥰
What a nice lady. And I love a world history teacher who travels. Her students were very fortunate. Beautiful camper home. I should have listened to you bob, we bought a class A and now we want to sell it and convert a van or a small bus. Love her beautiful home and she is so deserving of retirement. Hope she continues to enjoy her travels and has a great visit with her children. Thank you Bob ! Your a good man ! Leslye
Thank you so much for your kind words!♥
She sounds like the Rx You Tuber lady in Florida. Nice voice.
Yes! I just took my first trip out, MD to Maine, stayed in rest areas and campground in my Dodge caravan 2015. Scary at 1st loved it, wanna be on road ALOT God bless you, loved your set up
I'm still in the dream stage of doing this and had thought the transit would be a rough way to go, but this video shows it's quite doable.
