We just purchased the Cuisinart Burr Grind and Brew 12 Cup Coffeemaker. Ours is the series DGB-1400BCPC Model. Even though we have set the strength level at the lowest level, my wife claims the coffee is too strong. Any suggestions?
Did not see the end of the video because of an ad. I purchased this coffeemaker and set it up to make 12 cups as you did. Mine leaked because for some reason the basket overflowed with water. I noticed you used the gold tone filter where I used a paper filter. Why would the basket overflow? Any ideas?
So I have the same model and I called Conair owner of Cuisinart and they are replacing it for free with a better model. And all I have to do is take a picture of the coffee maker with the cord cut off
I bought this coffee pot and am having an issue if I use a paper filter. The grind basket overflows and get grounds and coffee all over my counter. I can see how the water lever went over the filter and there are grounds all over the basket. No trouble with the gold filter. I did not try to use both when using paper, just paper. I assume the paper filter is not allowing the coffee to flow through and it is raising up in the basket. Is there a special paper filter I have to use?? Have you ever had this issue?? I would like to be able to use paper if possible.

I have this coffee machine as well. Do you know if there's a way to open the machine to clean the grinder out?
Mine has been shutting off half way through the cycle. Very frustrating
