Ventrac mowing in New Zealand. Steep with beautiful views (clip 1)

Another tough day at the office (sigh). Some beautiful views to enjoy while getting into a large mow that includes some really good slopes - (more than 40degrees in places).
This video is the start of an extended version of the whole mow - I'll post the link here when uploaded, (have to find time for glueing the clips together).
If you're a Ventrac enthusiast, (as I certainly now am), this is a great study of how the machine handles long grass, lots of bumps, as well as steep climbs and descents.
Mower is Ventrac 4520p Petrol 31hp Kawasaki Motor with duals kit and MS720 72" side discharge deck (3 blades). Rated for continuous sideways mowing up to 30 degrees.
And, also, it was a lovely day!

I have never seen a side discharge mower deck on a ventrac

Congrats on getting the ventrac how does it compare to your modified John Deere on the slopes?

There’s very little comparison really. The articulated steering and twisty chassis sort of feels like driving a caterpillar. It’s much easier in the body and a lot softer footprint - climbs like you wouldn’t believe.
Sad to say, John Deere have lost me after a long relationship and 24 machines over the last 2 decades.
(I’m so impressed we got two).

@@BlockBustersCoNZ I've got the 3200 D older model but still very safe on slopes. Got the bucket and blade attachments as well. Did you get the rough cut deck as well.

@@trevorburton2718 yes, got the tough cut deck too - but currently doing some mods to it to enable better handling of Kikuyu. I'll let you know when they are complete, (and success or failure haha).

@@BlockBustersCoNZ Good, I have a 54 inch deck three bladed with a mulching kit that can be unbolted from it. Be good if you could show the modifications. Cheers.
