Anshuman has explained the terms beautifully. Having already known the meaning of std deviation, beta, Sharpe, alpha etc. Anshuman has made it EVEN more simplified
Tanmay, try to avoid "includes paid promotions" in suggestion-videos. If unavoidable, please bol dijiye kaun sa paid promotion hai. Nehito credibility thoda ghat jata hai. Love the content btw.😍

Regarding the Standard deviation..I think the deviation would be mostly normal. So, plus minus 1 sd will only cover 66% of the cases not 95%.

5:40 it's not always that the AMC takes 1%, if you're regular investor then these kind of penalties don't get deducted from your profit.

Should I shift those funds under my direct plans ..cuz since I intend to invest for very long periods . And don't intend to keep switching funds ..feel that broker charges would be very high fr me
Yes you should shift them to direct plans. Most of these mutual fund apps have an option to switch it for you
