My friends give scraps to me for processing into dog beds and it is truly surprising to me what someone else considers to be a "scrap" I consider to be a useable "treasure", like even fat quarter sized pieces, quite surprising. But thankfully they are passing them on to me to process instead of putting them directly into the landfill. Thank you for your video - wish I were closer to attend some of your classes/lectures. Check with your local shelters. They can throw them away when they get soiled. Avoid putting anything in but fabric and batting scraps and threads. No candy wrappers, fusible, paper, plastic, trash, etc.

I wondered that too. Some won't take them in case the dogs tear them apart.
