In this video I show tips and techniques on #howtopipebuttercreamflowersoncupcakes but most importantly this video covers the importance of couplers. Couplers allow you to practice and get creative with different piping tips and colour and increase your confidence when it come to piping in general!
Becoming a better baker and cake decorator is not impossible just knowing a few tips, techniques and lots of practice and determination can make it happen. Can you use a lazy susan when decorating your cupcakes?
The reading/narrative is way too fast. i modified it for my class by muting the voice and teaching verbally while the video was playing. You can also use the video in many ways by pausing to teach to a specific point such as "counting" the cupcakes, etc. It is a beautiful video and I will use it often.

I just wonder how easy it is for a person to eat these cupcakes. Other cupcake liners are not so tightly made and peel the sides down easily. These look more like cups, like you'd need a spoon to eat them.

Your choice of colors are beautiful! You can use the caps of the cupcakes as crumbs and mix with nuts or chocolate shavings and add texture to your cakes and cupcakes.

These are gorgeous, and you take the intimidation out of tackling them. Question: when doing cupcakes like these (or tiered cakes), is there an equation you use to figure out how much buttercream frosting to make before you start? Nothing is more frustrating than stopping just to whip up some more... Thanks! 🙏 🤗🤩

Aww thank you I am so happy you found the video tutorial helpful! 🥰🍂 I usually do try to show the colour mixing process as well but for this I wanted to emphasize how I constantly switch my tips so I decided not to show the couloir mixing but these are a couple videos where I show how to colour mix I hope you can learn something from them:

A few questions. First, how did you make the icing colours? Did you mix a few gel colours to create the shades or can you actually get gel in fall colours. I just love the colour palate you have here. Instead of flowers have you ever decorated using succulents like hens and chicks, different types of sedums, burrows tail, etc. I recently saw a cake decorated with the different coloured succulents there are and it was stunning

When she would get lazy with the leaves I got frustrated. Cus she'd make a beautiful flower and it did fulfill that illusion for a cupcake....and then the leaf were farted on amd it made me sad. Lol. Shes really good at this. She better make a poinsettia....idk. we're about to.start the last one

They are beautiful, especially the chrysanthemums. You do it much easier than the stack ones that you have to take off, and then try to put it on the cupcake or cake. I like this much better. Thank you.

GREAT TUTORIAL!!! 😍 It's apparent you've been at this for a while! Your hand motions are nice and smooth and fluid. Every instructor says it all comes down to PRACTICE. How many months will it take to do such a beautiful job? Or am I just a SLOW learner? LOL!! Thanks for creating such an easy to follow. Back to my piping practice!!! 🫣
Aww thank you so much your love and support means a lot 🥹🥰 hahah tbh anyone can achieve anything in life with some practice and patience and the same goes for this , the more time you spend doing it the faster you will learn the less time the longer it will take, so it’s really TIME, I highly suggest practicing on parchment paper and scrape the cream and reuse it this will allow you to practice and gain confidence hope this tip helps ☺️🤗
