I always enjoy the variety of your videos Greg. I have to admit, I'd be swept into 'gold fever', and panning for gold is on my bucket list. Stay safe. I'm looking forward to your future video with Mr. Hurd.

Love this video. Can't wait to see more prospecting-gold-gems-precious rocks-scenery etc. Just fantastic Gregg. Prospecting and bushcrafting -survival really go together well.
Dan has some really good sucker bottles to get everything you see in the pan as you go along. Great video! Love to see you out there looking for gems and gold on that long journey. It’s like my mom always told me “ you can do anything when you put your mind to it”.
My wife and I love you, Greg. You’re an inspiration and we want good things for you. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for you as well. We want to encourage you to build your cabin. It would be amazing to watch and a shame if you didn’t live out your childhood dream. Right on!
Interesting looking gems at the show, i feel it would be fun to go out to pan one never knows what you'll find . the garnets are pretty . hope you can get together with Dan for a video that would be cool. Thanks Greg for showing us how to pan very interesting.

Hey Greg. In 6 hours, i've got a 19-hour flight to help some jungle researchers in Borneo for a few weeks. Needed some stuff to watch on the journey out and back, so I have downloaded 80% of your playlists. A total of 108 videos. That should keep me more than entertained. I will be taking one of your t-shirts out there with me and flying the Greg Ovens flag in Sabah. Great video, as always. All the best to you and Finn
HAY my name is frank and I live in Palestine Texas been looking at your movie for a Long Wal now I really enjoy your movie doing a really good job if More people would Take there' kid's out in the woods it would really be great 😃
Love your vids man. All y’all Canadians making videos like these are chill and just great. Nothing against the others doing it, I just prefer the cadence better. No cutscenes and loud silliness, just facts presented black and white. You’d be someone I’d be down to show you my trout spots in California. Thank you for making videos
awesome video! I am a new subscriber to your channel and wish I had found it sooner. your videos have tons of life saving tips and first hand survival knowledge. I am a gold prospector in Colorado, I offer some tips for gold panning... 1 use something to stop gold floating away like "jet dry", "dawn soap", one or two drops in the pan stops gold from floating. 2 when the pan is about half full tap the edge of the pan as it is tilted, tapping helps more than shaking back and forth at the end of the panning process. 3 don't pan in the river you will loose a lot of gold due to the fast moving water, dig a small hole 24" wide and 10" deep or more and fill with water. this way you don't miss anything and plus it's better for the fish in the river and the wild life, some of the dirt and rock that you find gold in also have a lot of toxic metals like "lead", "mercury", "cobalt", and so on. I truly love your videos dude! and I hope my tips help someone out there ✌😎
Wow! I think I would have been jumping around, (metaphorically speaking of course) in excitement. I've never panned for gold or garnets before and it looks like so much fun. Of course, you need patience, but I have plenty of that so one day, maybe I will be in a place where this is possible. Just for fun, of course. 😀 I'm just as happy to see someone else find some too.
Thank You, for your content, Greg your videos are always so refreshing and I do appreciate that. Prospecting videos you are absolutely awesome it is something I want to do soon but I live in Michigan and there's not a lot of places to get gold here and the places that do have any gold it is miniscule LOL but I do spend a lot of time in Washington state so next time I'm there, you have inspired me to do some prospecting out that way. Thank you again for your content. Your videos are awesome
Your editors did a great job on your title page for this video. We were thinking you might want to change up your look to the one you have on the marketing page for the video (we like the editors style of hair cut, more trimmed up, and the shirt style ). It would make you look even more famous. From the video title, we thought you were going to pan for gold with Dan Hurd - we were disappointed that this wasn't the case. Thanks for this video and keep up the great work.
When panning, keep the material under water. That will help to clear the rocks out of your pan. The deeper water will take advantage of the slight buoyancy of the rocks, allowing less force to move them. The deeper water in your pan will increase the water's force on those rocks. Give it a try.
Bro looks majestic
Looks Like Dr Jordan B Peterson 😂
Took the words right out of my mouth!!!
Stop drinking or something

Is the photo on this and the last video Ai or something? Greg looks too devilishly handsome for it to not be digitally tampered with
Ya your right don't know how they are doing it.
Did he start looking better AFTER he found the gold?🤣🤣
He is a wonder of the nature, himself. Greg is very handsome without any AI intervention. He really doesn't need it. He is just awesome!
