Hey y'all I enjoyed this one. Never seen so many dynamite boxes. Looked like it was a little mom and pop mine. Be safe and can't wait for next week show
Awesome private mine . Neat how they repurposed rail and pipe for ladders ! Can’t wait for next Saturday! Also hope you both had a Merry Christmas 🎄 and looking forward to a New Year to you both!
Thanks Gly & Laura very interesting mine. Nice surprise to see that extra adit with rail hidden on level 2. New venture how many private mines can you get permission to document... Never seen before. Stay safe looking forward to the next. 👍
Gly, you didn't point out the miners boots that were on the first level by dynamite boxes! Interesting mine especially the ore cart lifter. Also would like to say your videos are fun and educational.😊
Well, they did a great job of mining out the copper ore. I saw little evidence that it was a copper mine, just a little green here and there. Interesting mine and excellent explanation of the mine layout.
This was another great exploration. What a trooper Laura was, getting hit in the face by the bat and never telling Gly about it. Just kept right on going.
The lower vs middle level was 400 or 500 feet. Then went down maybe 100 foot at the most on the middle level. That leaves 300 or 400 feet between for the chutes to travel. That is a long ways without more levels. You would think are more levels. Guess you wouldn't know for sure without roping down them.
It's great you met the owners and got permission to explore it! Could you call this an abandoned active mine since it's a patented claim? Private property mines seem a little different.
19:37 That lift section is built on an old truck frame. 25:56 What is alarming, is that the rungs are bent down in the middle. What were they carrying? 34:24 In this area, I saw a lot of holes with steels still left in them. Used to tie off to perhaps? **Just my opinion: The demolition job was sloppy when compared with older mines like the miners were learning as they went. Still a nice explore with a couple of surprises.
This mine, at least the parts you showed off in this video, seemingly hasn't been worked in years. How much effort is involved with keeping a patented mine claim active? It seems like someone now has a private hunting preserve on government land.
What I don't get is, bats hang upside down and there's poop all over the place. If I hung upside down and pooped, I'd have.....well, I won't go into details, know what I mean, Vern?
A big thank you to the owner!
Kudos to the owner! Thanks for letting gly and Laura documenting your mine.
Thank you for coming out!! We really appreciate it! He doesn't let many people out here.
“Gly”: Thank you very much, we had a great time! 👍
It's always a good feeling to show others what most will never see. Thanks for the invite!
That Bat ran right into Laura. Gly,she handled that well

Thanks for the video. Less than 5 minutes in and I’m loving both of you having cameras. It must make the editing a bit longer if assume.
Awesome mine. I can think of a couple of nuts
❤ HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! To my two favorite mine explorers. Yes I’ll be donating next year. Thanks for adding Laura as a positive teammate 😊
Thank you for all of your support this past year, Tina 😊!
@ absolutely 👍 and onward and upward.
Neat and clean cut. Love the wood work. An excellent mine.
If ever you find yourself in an abandoned mine, they are your buddies, and you got to love them. best wishes for the New Year.
There’s some Schlichting guy in Canada 🇨🇦 that has an old mine on his property, perhaps if asked real nicely he might let y’all explore it 😀 🤣🤣 ✌️🤙

Thanks for this video. Glad that no one disturbed what might have been old explosives. Looking forward to the next video!

Inviting Gly for dinner I want to cook. My specialty, chitterlings lol. Gly won't walk through the door I know.

Those are the coolest ladders
I noticed that Laura took a direct hit (on her helmet / face) from one of the bat inhabitants 🦇 😬🫣 …. 🧨⛏🧨⛏🇬🇧
I didn't realize the bat actually hit my helmet until we reviewed the footage. Good thing I ducked! That bat came out of nowhere.
Sure, they let you in for nothin, but to get out, you have to dig 2 tons of ore! ; )
Why is Laura hunched over? LOL
