I love it how Jay handles this convo. Hes not giving any „hot takes”, he points out repeatedly that we don’t know all and that’s why he can’t say if something’s right or wrong. Apparently it's more than one married female. One of the them was Celtic VP exec. Celtics knew about it since July and told them to end it. Coach continued to make comments towards female staff. That makes power struggle and dynamic into question. Grounds for potential legal action. Organization is not gonna let that fly and put out the fire as queitly as possible.

I see both sides, but it would be more weird if the Celtics said they were suspending Udoka and DIDN’T give a reason. Even if they made a blanket statement and said “for violating company policy” SOMEBODY would’ve found something out and leaked it. Either way it goes we’d be talking about it now or later.
I think SAS meant if the Celtics woulda said “ we are suspending Ime Udoka for 1 year for violating an organizational policy “ and ended there then he wouldn’t have a problem with it rather than leak his whole personal business out considering all the other stuff he knows that goes on and it isn’t leaked
@@henryleke3315 No that is not what he is saying. Suspending the man creates a gray area. You don't suspend him for this. You have a policy so follow the policy. Either he is fired, or he is retained, and you handle it in-house. You don't suspend. That makes no sense.

So seemingly, it is only warranted in the Boston Celtics organization. Three other individuals in the NBA have been fired for similar infractions and we have heard nothing about why they were let go. Why are we hearing about Udoka's issues? I'll let you infer.

There's either way more to the story or the Celtics are trying to make an example out of Udoka for behaviour that's complicated the inner-workings of the organization. Either way we clearly just don't know enough, making a circus out of it until we know more is equally as troubling as the Celtics publicizing the relationship.

My thing is , the Celtics should have never leaked part of the scandal between two coworkers. By them not leaking the entire story from both sides, it seems very disingenuous to the coach. The Celtics have done nothing to the woman because she is not victim but a willing participant in this scandal. This is the pot calling the kettle black. When Max "left" the show everyone knew why and SAS made comments about it leading up to reporters. That was personal stuff that didn't need to be exposed (especially because he was incorrect) That all could have been handled behind closed doors and it wasn't. They could have simply said "We are getting killed in ratings and want to mix it up" but they made it personal about Max. Max being lackluster half the time or clearly owning the debate (more so near the end) caused issues. Like Molly wasn't acting a fool, SAS doing wild takes and talking over ppl. There is a lot more than just the dynamic that at play. In fairness this was "leaked" in a different way, but either way you are making things public that don't need to be.

My wife's old job was as an EEOC manager for a phone company. She was shocked that the punishment was ONLY 1 year. An executive/subordinate relationship opens the company to numerous civil liability issues, far to many to even try to discuss here.

I been playing basketball about half of my life. Just outdoors basic basketball.
I have watch some of the greatest players in the world and been a student of the game ever since I was a child.
I have said on many occasions what the N.B.A. is playing now is gimmick basketball because there are no true coaches in the N.B.A.
Everybody just copies what they thinks works. Everybody is scared of their star players.
Denver had a Championship team the year they had JaVale McGee, but the coach was completely clueless that if he would have started JaVale at center and moved joker to power forward no team in the N.B.A. would have been able to match up with them.
But you know what the Denver fans told me.... Joker don't want to play power forward.
You throw away a Championship because ...Joker ....smh...are you serious?
No real coaches, no real fans, no real players, just all tricks and smoking mirrors.
The sad part is I could take any team in the N.B.A. and take them back to fundamentals
and respect and pride and win a Championship my first year as coach.
But I will never get a chance because owners only allow puppet coaches to run their team.
