So glad to see you back at the drawing board! I appreciated you having the photo of the subject on screen. I seem to learn visually, comparing what you are doing with the original subject. Thanks so much. I hope I can try it myself real soon.
Hello Katrina, beautiful painting as usual! 😊 I am still learning watercolor and funny story… same thing happens to me 😂. I bought a masking fluid tube thinking, oh that’s great, no need to use a brush. Well it turns out I had this tube only 2 days. It almost exploded as I was pressing it, I’ve tried to fix it with a needle an I even cut the plastic to figure it out what was going on… and It was so dry. A total lost of money! 🤷🏻♀️ Anyway, the good news is, another artist gave me a tip. For your old Windsor & Newton, you can add a bit of water in it to revive the masking fluid (unless is too dry), or at least to prevent from drying. It works a shot.. Hope it’s woks for you. Have a great day!
This is gorgeous, and I enjoyed watching you paint this. I went to purchase the outline, but $7 was a bit too much for one outline. I do find this absolutely beautiful, though!
I understand! I don’t actually prefer to sell digital downloads of my artwork, so I try to price it where it’s worth it to me. I know that places me out or range for some people, but it helps me sleep at night, if that makes sense. Maybe someday it won’t bother me as much and I can lower

That’s a beautiful butterfly! A beetle next would be a nice idea.
I love watching you! Cute to occasionally hear the voices of your family in the background. 😊
Doesn’t get much better than toddler-chatter, haha

Oh that’s a great tip! I’ll try to add water to my masking fluid (not the evil one, haha) and report back. Thank you!

I need that eraser in my life!

Good explanations.

Meraviglioso 👏👏👏👏
❤️
I’d give up on the needle and just squirt some in a cup and use an old brush or ruling pen.
Good call-I did that in the end and have even used the fluid again but the needle was a total flop all around.
Niet echt voor beginners. Not realy for beginners.
I’m sorry you had trouble. What part of the tutorial was too difficult?
