That's a great idea - did you cover the concertina with the cloth before or after you folded it? And did you glue it? Or how did you attach?

One option to give the concertina more rigidity is to use drinking straws underneath.

You could use acitate for the see through pannel on the lid. Good tutorial i'm blind and i understood everything.

If you made the lid out of some stiff plastic transparency you would be able to see your pens inside.
