Me and my ex snuck in a few years ago and explored up until we stumbled upon a big pool of blood and broken glass on the second floor by the escalator. We left lol. Have some great pictures though! Props for making it to the roof.

I think you’re the first I’ve seen on TH-cam to go up on the roof! Great shots from up top. Also cool to see the old fiscal books and papers left behind, Great video. I’ve always been fascinated with that old dead mall, still would like to explore it in person some day.
I've always wondered what this place looked like inside, especially after driving past it so many times. I can only guess what it looked like in its heyday. I sort of wish you would have gone down to those lower levels and explored them. Oh well. Nonetheless, it's a great video and a fabulous documentation of this mysterious structure. Excellent work!
Oh my! The memories. I remember we would go to the movies here in the late 80s. I believe the movie theaters were on the first floor. My family @ the time lived in Gardena. I lived in LA and would frequent this mall with my cousins. A couple of days ago, I drove by on 120th and saw the side of the mall. Flashbacks!

@@Urbex_Offlimits i remember one time they put many Tesla's in one of the parking lots too, but later they removed them back cuz who knows maybe the Teslas could have been damaged or graffiti on them. 😅
So bizarre to see they practically stripped everything from the buildings only to be left rotting over several decades. Right now the land is worth more than the buildings itself.
@@Urbex_Offlimits ok, millennial. I'm a boomer and yes, I used to watch TV until around 2014 or 2015 when I quit that habit and switched to TH-cam mainly.
I've seen a lot of dumb things on these 'abandoned' videos. But, you walking on the roof is one of the dumbest things I have seen by a longshot. If the roof gives way and you fall.... you can literally fall 40 feet down to your death. Please don't do that again.
@@Urbex_Offlimits it would help so many homeless people. The mall has huge restrooms. A soup kitchen could be set up in the food court. Also they could have security easy walk around the former mall (converted) just make sure everyone is safe. Also cleaning crews can pass through easily. Malls are designed for massive amounts of foot traffic so they wouldn't have to worry about wear and tear to a degree.
