After getting the 68 plexi, this one is a no-brainer definitely going on the pedal board as well. The versatility this gives me using these on the clean channel of my Marshall 2525C silver jubilee mini combo with an extension cream back one by 12 Friedman dirty Shirley there is no doubt I have the versatility to hit any of the 60s 70s and 80s tones and more of course with the game pushed on the Jubilee, which is of course the actual full amplifier, but these pedals are amazing the 68 has blown me away and honestly changed my gigging and playing quite a bit. It’s giving me the sound of worked so hard to dial in on the wrong amplifier. Lol thanks for a great demo on this one and looking forward to adding it to my rig. 5:36
I usually listen on full-size mixing headphones on my laptop but I just listened on my iPhone with the little in-ear pair. I know I’ll hear a way fatter low-end when I listen again with the full-size pair! I really like your song on this demo Ryan, it’s great brother.
well, you know there are definitely some downsides to making a small amp sound like a big one. i'm gonna say that the single 12" probably didn't do the low end justice, but i stand by the decision as *I* don't gig with a 4x12 and i think the practical application of this is for non-marshall rigs (cuz otherwise you'd just use your marshall)
Demos In The Dark it arrived Saturday. It’s all there. Marshall in a box and more. I’m running mine into. Revv20->Two Notes Captor X->DAW. I’ve had about an hour with it. So far, very good.
Strat/single coil tone can be amazing (my favorite is probably Robbie Blunt on Robert Plant's 'Big Log'), but this video shows why humbuckers rule. For me, anyway...
