One criticism of the programme's format is that the Host's attention should be on the Guest 100% of the time. Not even for making Coffee, the Host should take his eyes off the Guest, as in this case, Sunil was expressing a profoundly emotional incident of his life at the time. It was as though he was speaking to a blank space at that precise moment. It is the role of a Host to get the best out of the Guest. I know the sponsors of the programme are a brand of Coffee makers. Instead of the Host getting up to make Coffee, somebody else could serve it to the Guest & the Host during the interview. If the sponsors need their product advertised, they could have a banner on the back wall and have their logo printed on the Coffee maker, Coffee mugs, etc. Yes, they call it "The longest 5 minutes", and the programme lasted for 28 minutes and 36 seconds!
I think you should translate this episode to sinhala, the people who don't understand english will listen in sinhala language, and understand what Mr.Sunil Perera says, its a great Interview. Thank you.Yes the politicians are the worst bunch of people who are totally corrupt and they are the people should go behind bars .

This programme was recorded four years ago. Today is a day in September 2023. Sunil Perera died on 06 September 2021. The "Gota Go" campaign happened in July 2022. Could Sunil's outspoken views on politicians, interpreted as 'incitement to rebellion amongst young people' by the authorities at the time, possibly have contributed to his untimely death in some way? I wonder.
We all make Mr.Nagananda Kodithuwwaku as our president of this country. Last 71 years green, blue and red as ruined our country and they are not bothered about us. These politicos are Really corrupted and realy made our Life miserable, day by day we are becoming poor and living with fear, but they are not, they are in a very comfort zone with all the facility. This is our last chance for a huge change for the betterment of our country. Please unite together to achieve this milestone. Thanks
