Hey I'm also playing Ret 20/0/31 on golemagg. What's your opinion on Stronghold gauntlets. Better than weapon chain to get crusader?
Paladins don't need to use pvp gloves unlike warriors, so stronghold gauntlets are perfectly fine. Crusader is just better because it heals when it procs, which is like having another +100 HP enchant
honestly I don't think you need either for the most part maybe 1 in 50 warriors will disarm you and normally that's at a point they are already losing so bad it no longer matters you can either hoj, resentence, bubble or bop and heal and bandage well you wait to get your weapon back(1/2 the times i get disarmed hoj + judgment with a hammer to finish it off is all that is needed in the fight at that point). if I had to choose the gloves would be a better option the weapons chain crusader can make a difference when you need to burst down someone.
@@midwaymonster78 I always get disarmed when there is a warrior on BG, they just see my weapon and try to disarm asap. The other benefit of Strongholds is that nobody is expecting you to wear them, so they can try to disarm and waste rage just like it happened on th-cam.com/video/sFQeXj5kEdk/w-d-xo.html
@@acidm1nd yeah they aren't the worst thing to have but I normally only get disarmed when its premade vs premade or randomly and as I said at that point they figure out warrior vs geared ret paladin is bad its normally to late for them. I do how ever get disarmed far more by warriors if I ever go after a healer they are with this has lead to a fair number of very preventable deaths. also any warrior I kill in world pvp normally does go for the disarm on round 2+ lol.
also at this point i think im just against them since I already carry around way to much gear to be practical ret pvp ret pve holy pvp holy pve, multiple weapons and just way to many trinkets and then the consumes QQ

wish i had been able to get a dark edge at some point still haven't seen one drop now im waiting on my ash bring or might using a Maul of the Redeemed Crusader atm since neither in our 4 clears so far QQ
It dropped twice for my guild, one went to me and the other went to a warrior who gquit and transferred. We didn't have a single scepter of false prophet though
Same feeling. My lock seen three dark edges drop already and my pally seen zero. Using redeemed crusader hammer now but dark edge effect is definitely way better
@@shinz9092 My luck was the same, I was swinging earthshaker/unstoppable force and jeklik's crusher until phase 5 and then one week ashkandi dropped, then next week dark edge dropped. RNG is just weird sometimes

Ena crafted mine, I paid around 20g but it should be cheaper now. You can also find Felrin, that guy doesn't charge anything at all but he is rarely online these days
