Yea my favourite part was when he didn't call for a tank swap to a tank with actual shield wall or say petri before like 8 of his warriors died. Bro was cooking for sure... cooking his raiders' characters.

@@justinparker6117 is that the only way you can tank swap? Just do the same thing that hardcore players do whenever a problem arises - throw a petri at it. If the guy 2nd guy isn't an offtank with shieldwall then you didn't prep your raid properly.
@@vigridr7614 you would probably need to petri multiple DPS warriors because a viable tank warrior is not going to be high threat. You could in theory rotate petri on each warrior to shield wall etc. but coordinating heal swaps you are very likely to lose warriors through that. Most likely the tank without shield wall is similar tankiness as a DPS with shield wall. Additionally we don't know if the DPS warriors had already popped reck or whatever. Hindsight is 20/20. It's easy to backseat when you're not in the moment trying to do your job and make raid calls.

That first clip was absolutely beautiful. Great raid leading, calm and very precise and no panic. Afterwards people were calm about it and no one was mad. Amazing.
If I would join a hardcore raid team then only if they had like a 2nd raid guild on a Era server for the dead charas to join.

Tank should be crit proof on maexxna the entire enrage. He has all the time before the enrage to dual wield and get a threat lead but if he doesnt have a gearset that permits him to shield up after that point and be crit proof you shouldn't be doing maexxna

@@crombid4364Logout takes 55 seconds on HC if you alt-F4. But, Petris drop combat for 2 seconds. He could have petri'd /camp to live, but not Alt-F4.
@@crombid4364 no, the way this strat works is that you are still in the game, but log out after 45 seconds after alt+f4. The thing about maexxna is, she gets through petri as you have seen. No petri strats work on her because the netting breaks it. Nothing they could do but teleporting out

@@TheTragicClown6001 Never go inside a cave without a good exit plan or at least one friend by your side. Caves are deathtraps with how fast the spawn rates are.

still amazing that people can get up to Naxx on hardcore.
If you understand the simple raids then not dying is relatively easy, if not grindy and still potentially dangerous due to shitty RNG. Anyone getting to Naxx in Hardcore is going to be a sweaty overanalyzer who is exploiting every advantage they possibly can in order to survive that long, so in a sort of paradoxical way people getting to Naxx in HC is less surprising than it is surprising.
Aspect of the daze does its job once again
I dont play classic anymore but it is so satysfying to watch. I am impressed watching people raiding or even trying Naxx on hardcore. There are SO many things which can go wrong in a heartbeat or just bad luck. I admire such dedication and patience knowing you need to grind 500 hours just to enter Naxx and die to try again. And that druid trying to solo Bhag'thera = ROFL. Is it possible to solo it on lvl 38? Yes! Is it worth trying on hardcore? Hell no!

If I played Hardcore like this, before our group even tried raids we would make regular characters and go in and practice the raids till we could do them with our eyes closed, then go back and do them on hardcore.

Can't get over the fact that people play HC with 0 experience. What you need is game knowledge. The game will kill you. If you don't have 5+ years classic experience don't even try HC. You'll die 100%
i started hardcore blind and my 5th character hit 60...its not that difficult, really.

The last two were awful players, they had zero situational awareness, didn't know their class at all. Why would you even try if you don't even know what to do? Aspect of the Cheetah in a situation like that? Then the Rogue, what was that shit, no Sprint, but knows enough to use Evasion, Bandage, and Gouge? Those are people who crack under pressure.

8:52 is a perfect example of why so few hunters make it to 60. Most of the time hunter is so safe and easy that you get lulled into a false sense of security. And then suddenly shit hits the fan, you have not been hit for 10 levels so you have no defense skill so every hit on you is a crushing blow, and you just panic and fall apart.

@@sadkat9162 Cheetah was just one of the mistakes, and one that did not have to kill him if he was more alert. Even if he had switched cheetah off, he was trying to run away with his back turned, so he would most likely have been dazed anyway. And then comes the crushing blows, not running when your pet is at 20% and 2+ mobs are still at full hp, not being aware of your surroundings and where you can run. There were many mistakes, and cheetah was not what got him killed.

@@lekstre9117 Sure, but at 9:43 his pet dies while he has good range to all the mobs. If he had run right then and there, instead of being greedy by killing the low mob, he could have easily gotten away. Very easily since he didnt notice he had cheetah on the whole time, he was just too greedy/over confident and got overwhelmed by crushing blows and dazing :)
