hi there, I am a Chinese guy and the doctor told me I suffered from CMT two years ago.
At first, when I was still in senior high school, I found all of my fingers trembled uncontrollably. And I never outran anyoone in PE class(always one lap behind all the runners.). My feet were normal but looked thin, and I sitll walked like normal people. Until I gratuated from college, I had muscle twiching all over my body all the time and my left leg began to have drop foot. At that time, I thought these symptoms were nothing related to any disease.
So, from senior high school to the present day, I have suffered from such a disease for about 20 years, but I got to know CMT only two years ago in hospital.
If I met you in person, I would like to give you a hug although we don't know each other.

Thank you soo much for the info. I'm surprised that my neurologist hasn't talked to me about these yet. As someone who suffers from CMT & have a number of family members who are affected by it as well, this information is golden!!

Bethany I have this same disease but it is in my feet and will later effect my hands and brain they say
