This province has been hit particularity hard by NAFTA and has never recovered, this shutdown should have been a perfect time to talk about UBI and the many 10's of thousands of Nova Scotians who have fallen through the cracks in a system already in a weakened state. Why wasn't public health the most talked about aspect of the message to the public about fighting this disease, early on people were shamed into staying inside, meanwhile all evidence pointing to C19 not living in the wild.
