    Great video. Gonna be in Tavira at the beginning of April. Hopefully i will be able to do some wateractivities. Wanna try Stand up paddeling. Looks like a lot of fun.

    That is simply amazing. What a beautiful area of the world. I've never experienced beaches like that. I'm looking forward to visiting. Hopefully this year.
    I did find it strange that the 2 people on the boat were still wearing their mask.

    Dude, I like your videos but why do you feel the need to play music that is twice as loud as your narration?

    • @AlgarveAddicts
      @AlgarveAddicts  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Technically it's not twice as loud but I'll pay closer attention to that. Cheers for the criticism.

      @@AlgarveAddicts Thank you very much from someone with sensitive hearing. I know that background music can be trendy but what you have to say and show is much, much more important and relevant.
      Please keep up the good work.

    Hello Nick. Thank you for putting together such a wonderful overview of the Algarve beaches. It's nice to have this info in one place. 👍🏻 BTW--When you find time, could you do a commentary on how Algarve beaches compare with Silver Coast and nearby Porto beaches (e.g., water temps, windy conditions, fog, best season). I've heard water temps near Porto can be frigid, fog and wind are common, and Nazare has world's largest waves but looking for 'typical' conditions--if they exist. Cheers.

    Love your videos,for a start. But maybe , someday, you can make a video on the people who have left algarve, and why. Because I am reading from people who have bad experiences. Especially the talk of the portugees being a bit backwards, and teasing the expats. Mainly in the villages. Thanks ! Bye

      Let me know if you find any? Living in the Algarve is definitely not for everyone. It's a very countrified and seasonal atmosphere that can get a bit much for people used to big cities.

    Hi, I'm curious about the weather in the different regions of the algarve. Is it similar all along there? Are certain portions warmer? Rainier?

    • @AlgarveAddicts
      @AlgarveAddicts  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is fairly similar all along however it tends to be a bit cooler and windier in the west. Naturally the further you go away from the ocean you'll get slightly higher and lower temperatures i.e. more variation away from the moderating influence of the ocean. .

    I have never paddle boarded before. It does look like a great way to explore and get some exercise in. I would love to see a video on the sport. Maybe a comparison to kayaking. How far you can go and how strenuous it is for a few hours.

    Side question, I remember seeing information, somewhere, about a restaurant/bar built into the beach cliff. Do you happen to know of it, are there more than one?
    Could you talk about car rental/hire in the Algarve? Yes, I know of Hertz and Europcar, but are there more affordable local companies?
    This time we are using the CP-AP to get from Lisboa to the Algarve ergo looking at car rental there.

    Love it!! Can you shed any light on where the dedicated nudist beaches are in the Algarve? Not because I am nudist... but walking on the beach last summer stumbled across one (either that, or there was something on that day I didn't know about!). Would be good to know, and therefore to avoid (or join!) if you wanted?!

    • @AlgarveAddicts
      @AlgarveAddicts  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In my paddles I have come across a fair amount of naked people 😂 Basically any remote beach would work for nudists. Near Alvor in those coves, along Armação de Pêra's Praia Grande, just west of Vale do Lobo (strangely enough), west of Praia de Faro and along the remote stretched of Praia Tavira (more to the west). Also in Lagos on Praia Canavial. Now you have a good selection to choose from Fiona 😂😂😂

    Not directly related, but I’ll be in PT in October. 12 days. Lisbon, porto, then maybe 5 days in the Algarve. Since I’ll want to visit several areas, would it be best to rent a car to visit diff areas? Or just check in somewhere in the middle and use public transport to visit other areas?
