2 things I hated about farming. The weather which we have no control over and the markets which we have no control over. That’s all. Carry on Doug.
farming would be boring without a little variety
Boring would be nice for a change. Let’s go fishing.
The first cut and the last raise, farming,
I don’t understand how auto steer works I guess, why do you have to judge distance with auto steer?

Happy Father Day to the Larson Farm's fathers!
Impressive Chet...most guys would never think about exposing their crew. Excellent leadership on your part 👍
Happy Father's Day to all the Dads at Larson Farms! God bless you all!
The "mudfest" that was 1991 it was Jun 15th when I said eff it, I'm planting crosswise, diagonal across the hilltops whatever, anything that's dry enough. Patched in the last of both corn and beans on June 25th and it was still raining every couple days. We were trying to plant, cultivate, spray pre, spray post ,side dress corn somewhere all at the same time. Wet spots had tall grass growing, flew on Roundup. Some guys mowed it off with the stalk chopper so it would go thru the digger. Those type of years you want to forget but never do.
Happy Father's Day to all of the fathers working on Larson Farm.
Appreciate the honesty in your videos, it's rare these days

I guess you guys don't realize just how good you are at running equipment. I stopped farming 35+ years ago and I know I was never that good. That makes it fun for me to watch. Thanks guys for a job well done.
Happy Father’s Day all!!
Happy father's day to Brody as well
Happy Fathers Day to all the Larson Farm and their employee partners.
God Bess!!!
Happy Father’s Day to the Senior Mr. Larson,

you guys are all good on-screen and narrating - lots of good feel for the experience conveyed.
wondering how your wives deal with planting /harvest season? maybe have a Q/A with the wives would be nice.
Chet hope you and Dougo get well soon!!!
Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads at Larson Farms 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅
I’m not a farmer, but I watch your videos all the time. What are black turtle beans? I’m absolutely not sure. Just curious no big deal.
@@jerryfish1303 I don’t know either !!! I suppose that where black turtles come from 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🇺🇸🦅🦅 I would like to know what they use them for !! Answers anyone?
Happy father's day to Doug and and the father's watching this video thanks for the video Chet you just made my day
Live in south central Minnesota. 17.4” of rain last two months Crazy how much rain we have received
Here in SE Ga, vidalia onion country, the heat and drought is no joke! Peanuts and corn is burning up! Not much rain coming here in over a month! Pivots are running wide open for all the ones that have them and praying hard for the one's who don't have pivots because they're in trouble! Plus the fire hazard is pretty bad right now! Prayers for ya'll and the rest of the farmers, it's been brutal! God Bless!
Wow..amazing how much difference between you guys and Upstate NY. Corn is chest to eye height right now here. Hope the weather turns around for you. Stay safe.
Hello Dougo good to see you again and happy Fathers day to you and the rest of your crew have a great day
Mother nature sure is throwing curve balls. Drout last year when rain was needed and now rain when not needed...... And there are people out there that think farming is a breeze. Get well Dougo and Chet, one good aspect of getting sick right now, at least the wet conditions are allowing you a little bit of a break from the long hour days.
HAPPY FATHERS DAY to the Dads at Larson Farms🥰 i know these videos are behind usually so the weather now isnt much better. Here in Brainerd Mn further North than you guys we will be getting more rain and possible more severe weather starting today thru tuesday i believe. On Thursday of oadt werk a tornado was 13 miles away from us that touched down. I dont remember off hand weather with continued rain and severe like daily June alone has been nothing but rain. Larson Farms i feel for You and every other farmer in Mn and other states this continued rain and storms with tornados, flooding hurricanes and tsunami's in other states its mind boggling. Going to feel it in the grocery stores and you farmers are feeling it now. Prayers you get planted and prayers your crops will produce for you🙏
Happy Father’s Day.
Weather and Markets.
Markets now are the hardest part of Farming Now
Happy Father’s Day to all fathers and future fathers
Getting to the point of plant all the acres you can and hope for the best.
Happy Father’s Day to all the dads on the Larson farm.
Enjoy watching all of the videos, love all of you. I am 75, was raised on a farm in Indiana. Like seeing the farming difference between your state and my state. God bless you all and thanks for sharing your life with us.
Definitely been a long spring.. finally finished planting soybeans Thursday, left that field and went to another to replant a wet hole on one of the first fields I planted. And also replanted some yesterday. And now starting on wheat harvest and double crop beans this week.
This late spring is also going to turn into a nightmare for harvest!
Feel better Fellas.
You just said it no rest quick recovery y'all
Happy Father's day to the Larson farm's fathers.
Happy Father's Day to all Larson Farms Dads!
Yea Chet what a bizarre spring for you folks last year no rain this year vast amounts of it The Life of a Farmer!!!!!
Well so sorry I’m praying for. Well something better? God bless and be safe in the fields guys
Your courage to question 'Have We Lost Our Minds?' reflects deep introspection and bravery. It sparks important conversations and inspires reflection. And I'm Floating Village Life, moved by your thought-provoking insight
Another great video. Thank you guys
Happy Father’s Day to the Larsons and the crew🙏
thank you
👍 thanks
Love it
Hello again just adding to my previous comment I am watching youb from Ontario Canada
Unfortunately all farmers seem to be having trouble this year. Pemberton Farms over in England has been crying the blues because the rain has been almost constant. Tough year for everyone.

7:00 Chet, sometimes it happens that way. When you’re pushing hard to get the work done in the time you have, you don’t rest until you’re done. Unfortunately, lack of proper rest can weaken the immune system a little and you can catch a cold easier than normal. But what can you do? The work has to be done. Hope you and Dougo get to feeling better soon.
Happy Father's Day to all the dads!! Brody, we get 5 feet of rain a year here in Pensacola, we call it liquid sunshine. When I was a youngster, we would head down to the
school and go skimboarding in the rain!!
Happy fathers day to you all.
great video
I had the same cold as you and your dad. Started around Memorial Day. Took about 2 1/2 weeks to run its course. Good luck guys!! 🤒
Yup Team Larson !
Happy Father’s Day to all. Better farming on a not raining day😅!👍❤️
Happy Father's Day Dougo lol. As for the intro hehehe you love it and you know it, the excitement of doing something old/new is the best gift to yourself ever 🤣😂🤣
Happy Fathers day Dougo and Brody 🇺🇲🚜
Happy Father’s Day Dougo
Happy Father's Day Doug! Randy too if applicable
Wishing you both to get healthy soon and good. And please dont overwork yourself, may end bad in some weeks...
Just planted my canola and got 1/2inch on it last night we’re in bizness!
Happy fathers day Larsons
Awesome video Chet hope you and Dougo feel better soon
It's being the same here in Ireland rain and more rain one or two dry days and a week of rain its being like that for months now But what can you do work when can and hope for the best GOD BLESS all you farmers
Best wishes from Ireland 🇨🇮
We had the same weather in northern New England last summer. Wettest summer on record.
Hope you guys all had a good Father's Day
Happy fathers day dougo 😊
We B rolling rolling rolling!
Happy father’s Day Dougo
Amazing video chet!!!
I sympathise with you guys. The rain is relentless even here in UK. Some are having it harder that most so thoughts are with you for the "Summer".
Happy Father’s Day to Doug and Brodie
Sounds like 1/2 your problem is all in your head, being sick sucks. The other 1/2 of your problem is that the weather sucks.
Awesome video guys. Hope you get to feeling better. 🚜🚜🚜
Thanks for another great video everyone. It was interesting and informative and enjoyable to watch.
First of all I hope Chet and Dougo get to feeling better. Think both of you are down sick with chest colds and congestion. Take care of yourself, both of you.
Dougo you did really good with the big roller I thought. That is a big piece of machinery to haul around. Nice work Dougo. Sorry you are not feeling well.
Brody you are doing good with the planter doing black beans. You did not get stuck once but you had a few questionable areas. Nice work Brody. Know you are trying to beat the rains. Hang in there. Stay well.
Eric is spraying the ground ahead of the black beans. Stay well Eric. The black beans require a lot of extra work. Hang in there Eric.
About it I guess. Chet and Dougo take care and get to feeling better.
Thanks for everything.
You all take care and be safe.
The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Come on Larson farms good and the bad it don't matter we want to see it all buddy
Happy Father’s Day dougo And can’t forget brody
From May 4th to June 6th we had 17.4 inches of rain in Western Kentucky it took us 62 days to plant our crop with 50 Acres of wet holes still to plant, brother I feel your pain and anxiety!!! One thought we have always gotten the crop planted thru the years this was my 36th planting season! Good luck guys
My father always had us push (field work, planting, harvest, etc) no matter how the sky looked or what the forecast said. I follow that same philosophy now. I've been able to accomplish more versus being shut down due to weather following that perspective. There's generally not enough time available to sit and wait until conditions are ideal or hesitate due to a weather forecast. You didn't make it this time, but you've covered a lot of ground in similar situations.
Wish I lived closer to work for the Larson Farms.
Here in Houston area seems like everybody has the same crud in our heads. I know it's early, but Happy Fathers Day Dougo and Brodie.
Waving a hand from texas
Following your IG and Snapchat Chet, you were way sick when staying home with the boys, hopefully you are totally 💯
The producer has greatly improved video content by having a multiple cast of characters doing their thing in the same video.
While farming is now in a monsoon just wait until June 12th when a heat dome takes up residence in the Midwest with elevated temperatures and no moisture.
3 more inches in southern mn last night!!!
Another SICK video,lol
Love your earthly father's while you have them. Give thanks to our Heavenly Father for us all. I enjoy watching you and your Dad interact. You come from good stock...lol. Thanks for sharing. Be safe. Stay well.
One good thing is the seed that you planted is getting good watering.
Well I hate it for ya but get some rest and get well. Thanks for the entertainment.
Can’t win loosing. When you don’t want rain you get it. And when you want rain you don’t get it. Hope you feel better
Great stuff guuyff c
This has been quite the year for sure. We finally finished planting 2 days ago. It sounds like a wet week coming up for us here. They are talking up to 3 inches possible this week.
I feel for you guys and your colds. I’m 67 just retired and just got back from my doctor. In my entire life I have NEVER EVER been sick between the months of April thru October. But now two years running I’m right now getting over head and chest congestion with an antibiotic. Asked my doctor about if things changed and how I’ve never been sick at this time of year, and he said he’s noticing more sickness in spring to fall than ever before. 🤷🏻♂️
It's in the food.
Happy fathers day Dougo.
The weather and the long hours are reeking havoc on your immune system.
Load up on vitamin C or something like Airborne. It will shorten the cold
Dougo warned you not to stand downwind from him in the last video. Hope you both get well quickly.
Happy Father's day Dougo an someday chet o an Brody
Hey Dougo, now you & Trevor can relate to each other! 😂
If you go and get a scope classic mouth wash and gargle morning and dinner and night you all will not get sick I have not been sick in 10 years A old man told me about this so give it a try
Dougo is a gem
14:42 Chet twizzling that plyer like he was a kung fu butterfly knife master.
5:59 Kind of you to disinfect the cab! Hope you guys feel better!
Better to have tried and failed then not to try at all👍👍👍
Thought of using a crop duster plant to do black beans and last of soybeans. Due to the great drying days
Dougo, I had a summer cold about 20 years ago. In the middle of August. The worst cold i ever had. It kicked my butt.
Conditions might not be ideal, but sometimes, ya might as well just go ahead and do it.
Happy fathers day to all the fathers at larson farms
Send some of your Minnesota rain down here to South Carolina… we’re quite dry in our fields and need rain.
