  • Every vacuum cleaner is equipped with a filter: sucked-up air passes the filter, after which dust particles are filtered out of the air. To prevent a filter from becoming clogged and thus preventing the air from filtering properly, it is necessary to wash and replace the filter regularly.
If you have a Tineco vacuum cleaner, I have good news for you: the different filters are washable. You can wash them under the tap. How should you wash the Tineco filters? I'll show you in this video!

Don't worry, Vacuumtester, I have both liked and subscribed to your channel, I have had this hover for a few years but could never get it to work correctly until I saw your video and was just about to buy the latest Dyson, but because of you it is now going like new, thank you so much!!!

I bought 6 of the filters. Each vacuuming gets a clean one. Once all 6 are used, I sometimes use my Electrolux to clean them and sometimes also soap and water clean them. I get the regular vac out anyway so no big deal.

The suckiest thing about all stick vacs that aren’t a Dyson (as they have really good prefilter cyclone systems) is this- this pre filter needs to be cleaned every two canister dumps. So, 1/3rd of of my use of this otherwise wonderful tineco vacuum is cleaning the pre filter. I thankfully have a model that includes the “filter cleaner” which basically swaps dirt between your two filters it comes with. It’s laughable, but it works.

You are not alone on this one, the continuous cleaning on the filters is what many people dislike about the Stick vacs.

So... You clean the dirty filter with a new filter?... Sounds legit..

So does it just move dirt to a new filter?

      100% yes.
Without a pre-filter cycle based system like the Dyson a run, this is the unfortunate world of the stick vacs, constantly cleaning a filter to make it work good.
