Thank you. The Phillips screw wasn’t obvious to me. Is the original filter (with the metal mesh) reusable after cleaning? BTW, I’ve had my Tineco for about 3 years and its been fantastic. I’ve been washing the other filter regularly. But finally, I received a filter replacement kit.
The Tineco web site says that it can be washed but must be dried completely: "Instruction Manual - Tineco The HEPA can be washed under running water if necessary, and should be dried completely before reinstalling. After the cleaning , install the brush roller back."
It's frustrating that you instruct us to replace the HEPA filter every three months, however, you don't sell it individually. Only as a kit with the other pre-filters. I already have two, I maintain them properly, and they don't need replacing. Only need the HEPA Filter. This seems like a money-grab from your company and I'm disappointed.

Are the replacement filters (non metal) washable like the original metal one it comes with?
love this vacuum but the filters just clog so fast... thanks for the video. our filter was so full of lint that we didn't even see the screw

Why doesn't the replacement have the metal cover
Because the manufacturer decided that they no longer need the metal cover so all new filters are just paper

The metal cover was on the older filters. The newer filters does not come with the metal cover
