This was so helpful! Your advice on being flexible with this and not taking it too seriously, but being thorough was needed. We often put some much pressure on ourselves to have these highly accurate, complex documents that we forget that it's new and it will change, and that that's okay!!

This would be determined by what is showing you progress in your business but I will focus a full video on this!
I'm thinking of starting NPO to reduce poverty by giving food parcels to families. My concern is how I'm going to measure the progress?
Where you started to where you end up. How many parcels to how many families...that’s the impact!
How do you find the need, I’ve been looking at the census numbers for youth in Las Vegas, I’m also struggling with my forecast budget for start up if I’m going to get fiscal sponsorship. Is fundraising $100,000 goal to high for a startup after school guidance program working under another 501c3? My BP is almost complete I’m just struggling with the segmentation and budget areas. Also, when do I create the logo and website, is it before or after getting incorporated?
I would focus on all of the logo and website stuff after incorporating so that you know you are a bonafide business. 100,000 is a lot for starting out. Is there a way to begin with a pilot program at one school and grow from there? That’s what I would suggest. The segmentation is just breaking down audiences: people who receive your services, supporters, sponsors etc. does that make sense?
The Socialife Diaries yes it does all of it, and there’s a shelter warehouse/boutique for homeless youth I volunteer for that started out because of the amount of homeless high school students at the school, and the other day someone suggested to me to talk to them and the high school they work with to see if I can start out under their 501c3, (even though I wanted to work under the boys and girls club) and because it’s a warehouse with a board room and breakroom etc. I could do my transitional guidance program at the warehouse because the students go there to pick anything they need anyway so maybe I could arrange transitional guidance sessions when they arrive.
My friend said, it’s a smaller environment and less kids and distractions that the boys and girls club would have. Not only that, I said in my curriculum that youth would do community service and fundraising, well they could do the community service at the warehouse as they gain empowerment and life skills and later fundraising with the same organization.
Only thing my mission statement would have to align with theirs because I don’t say anything about homeless youth or disadvantaged youth in my mission statement.

You know what? I may need to add some! That’s a great idea! Unfortunately, I don’t at the Moment but you can just write it. That’s the most important. Get it on paper to share with others. Now get out there and unleash it girl!
