Wow alot of stuff on the wii u that i might like sure alot people say its garbage but for me i grew up playing the nes snes atari 2600 ps1 and ps2 so alot of these games remind me of old school retro gaming i love old looking games so what if its not ps4 quality 1st person video games should not be what sells the console and i see alot of different genres which is good since now of days they focus on more 1st person games then anything

They don't show the full extent of the game mechanics so you have to check the game out if it vaugely looks similar to something that you want to play

The Wii U was a great system but like the GameCube it was under appreciated because it was sandwiched between Sony and Microsofts superior hardware... PS2 and Xbox destroyed GameCube and PS4 and XB1 destroyed Wii U. I personally loved the GameCube and Wii U. The Wii U’s big game pad fit perfectly in my hands and was incredibly comfortable
Gamecube was actually superior to PS2 hardware-wise. It's just that developers never properly developed multi-platform games for the Cube due to focusing on the most powerful console (Xbox), or the most popular (PS2). Xbox didn't exactly crush Gamecube. It only sold a couple million more units. It's more like PS2 annihilated them both. I think the Wii U was a different situation. It was a little more powerful than PS3 in a time where it needed to make a bigger leap in power, yet half the time the multi-plats were better on PS3/360 anyway. The game pad gimmick was not nearly as well thought out as the Wii's motion controls, so no one wanted to develop for it. Lots of great first party titles, but sadly just about nothing else. To make matters worse in 2019, pretty much all of the best Wii U titles have been ported to the Switch. I think only Mario 3D World is left...
The Wii U’s game library is pretty terrible 😳…. Like someone mentioned, “70% of the Wii U library look like mobile games,” and it there seems to be less than 20+ games that are actually worth buying.
You should think of remaking this video soon. It'd be nice to know where each game was available from. Games like the Yakuza 1&2 HD pack were only released in Japan for example. Of course I'm here now because the Wii U EShop is shutting down.
Everyone complains about all these e-shop releases, but many of them seem very interesting.It would be even better if they were all $5 and under, instead of $10-20. It is better than the endless licensed garbage on wii or even the pc novels of the psp and dreamcast! If you watch these videos on other systems you will see that there is shovelware for all of them. It is disapointing to people because a nintendo system should have more killer apps, and there just isn't enough on the wii U.

Ngl. Kinda sad. I homebrew my wii u and was looking what games to download. But, man. So many indie games and most aren’t even good. Imma jus need to download all AAA games. Am just happy since I own a switch (although patched, hoping find a exploit around it). Switch has a great library of games, massive AAA games and what not. Imo the wiiu was and still is a great console that didn't live long enough to reach its full potential. Mobile gaming in japan is huge and that is where the market is. Nintendo should realize that consumers are now willing to pay up to $1000 for a system and try to compete with the steam deck, android and ios devices. offering the same features with their own app store

Hi the 3D Batman Arkam games do have physical versions it's only the 2D game Origins Blackgate that is purely digital on Wii U .
