    But my is SP C261, the operation interface is different. According to the way you share, I still fail. Does this model support gmail sending?

      Yes,
      Operation is different but main theory is same.
      1. Create a personal gmail account
      2. Two step verification on. (Gmail)
      3. Generate app password
      Now Ricoh Device
      1.DNS: 8.8.8.8
      2. SMTP: smtp.gmail.com
      3. SSL: On
      Port: 465
      4. Email authentication : on
      User name: full email address
      E-mail address : full email address.
      Password : generated app password
      Confirm pass: generated app password
      5. Administrator email address : full email address
      6. Maximum email send size: maximum
      7: auto specify sender name :on
      Thats all

    Hi, is there any way or option available to test the email smtp configuration setting from Web Image Monitor ( on Web Interface ) without going every time to scanner and scan a document to see if the email configuration is correct. In this way we can remotely test and know if the scan to email work fine. Or can we send a test message from from configured email to any my email for testinig purpose. I have configured auto Email notification and on demand notification but not getting any notification.
    Is this option is available in RICOH MP C2504ex model for testing smtp connection. The gmail account will work with this model C2504ex model?

      Sorry, no option to test email configuration from web image monitor.
      But if you configure this settings Which i provide in this video, you can sure this will work.
      Few days ago there was a change in app password option.
      Now app password option you will find in the option of 2 step verification.

      Yes, The same way you can send email from gmail to any other non gmail account.

    The scanned files only received by Gmail address.
    No receiving files to an organization email.

    i dont have app password option in my google account

      At first need to enable 2 step verification option, if then not have app password option then your gmail account is not personal, it’s for your business or for your child.
      Then you should create a new gmail account when creating please select for my self.

    Can't enter app password in to web interface because Spaces cannot be entered. 😡

      Yes
      At first copy app password then paste it in a MS word or note pad, then delete spaces then copy this App password, it will work after removing speces.

      I think you change something to your email account.
      Please re generate app password and use this password to Ricoh MFP then check all settings, i think it will be ready Again.
      Then please don’t' use this email account for other purpose.
