I started with Bluetti with their AC200Max a few years ago. The quality of all their products has been outstanding. I’ve grown my ownership and use of their products to the point where I have an AC500 and 5 B300S batteries powering our off-grid cabin. Their customer service has improved INCREDIBLY. Love what this company is doing and where they are going!
I bought one and the unit has lost about 20% capacity after about 20ish uses and 2 1/2 years of lying about in a VERY nice environment. NEVER again for me.
@@unaffiliated_x9279 I contacted them and they had me do a couple things and it improved it a little, but they said this "degradation" was in line with their technicals and is what they expect after 2 years of age and use use, even with such LOW usage.
@@unaffiliated_x9279 I called they responded I did what they said, it improved a little and according to them it falls within their technically expected degradation with usage and years.
I bought my AC200 (original version) years, years ago, it was a 220v unit. It was set only on 50 hz, Well Bluettis customer service never answered, it destroyed all heating appliances like flat iron, electric stove, electric oven and water pump of my would have been wife. Because I destroyed all of those appliances, her family broke up with me. After 10 years when I got here to the US, I by accident messaged a bluetti live stream and I was flooded by eager people to help me. It was more harder for them to grasp that it wasn't a sale in the U.S by it was in the philippines and that in the philippines we use 220v, plus it was only on 50hz. I gave up on them because they were not from bluettis support and they were a headache. I do like their newer products but I have it in my heart that they burn! I type bluettis as a single word because if read as blu*ettis it gets a bad slang taglish meaning.
I purchased one of the older blue units years ago, brand new but not from an authorized dealer. The screen was dead in about a year, they did not want to offer any help at all. I tried emailing them and speaking to someone. No help at all. Very disappointed with their customer service. I have never purchased another Bluetti.
I’ve watched about a half dozen of your videos now & today I went to buy stuff at a store that has that exact same table mat. I would have never noticed it’s significance if I hadn’t just seen it an hour ago 😅
been running a maxxed out AC300 system for two years now. Powers about 80% of my house every day. only thing i want to change is more batteries so i can go more time with poor solar like this December was.........
I love my Ac180 and am very happy with reliability. If I could afford a 200L I would get one because it is expandable and reliable. The great thing about the portable systems for the house backup is when you move it goes with you because it is NOT attached to the house.
I have many of them and two issues persist. The LCD screen on one is upside down. Three of them won't respond to AC or DC on taps on the screen. I have to use the app to enable the inverters.
I feel like their customer support is still under staffed in 2025, and it can get quite frustrating when you need help. But the people you get on the phone really try very hard, and there’s value in that 😊.
Oupes Mega 5 is a standout in the large power station group. Great savings on reconditioned units on ebay. Bonus: the Oupes Mega 5 can be charged directly from a level 1 ev charge station, a great alternative charging option that only a few of the big power stations include.
I bought an AC50S a few years ago that was a live saver through some power outages. It only went bad recently because my I let my brother in law borrow it and he got it wet in the rain.
Great video, I have been researching and watching alot about Bluetti along with 2 other major contenders. I'm really drawn to the Bluetti for the expandability of the units. I am looking to purchase the Ac300, my question is do you think it can run a 750 sq ft offgrid cabin on a daily basis if set up properly?
I’m looking for a whole home backup power system. I looked at your video where you talked about on EcoFlow systems. Which one would you go with between the EcoFlow DELTA Pro Ultra and Bluetti EP900 or EP800 systems? Thanks.
I agree... bluetti has fewer problems that ecoflow units. The only thing I think that bluetti is behind on is options in the app. Also they are now limiting their 12v output to ONE 12v power port. I would think they are failing and loosing a good portion of their market share of rv, vanlife community.
realistically, no, unless you're using them long term then it's a good idea. If it's just for backup power, most people don't ground them.

I have a AC300 and four B300s. 2400 watts of solar feed. I can run about four rooms on my home in the summer. in the Winter I get about one day a week. If I lose power for more than one cloudy day, no. If the second day is sunny, I get a second day of power. No 220.
The new big (but still, heh, "portable", at least if you're Vin Diesel, I suppose) Bluetti is only going to have 60v solar input. On the plus side, they'll probably fire sale AC300 and 500's on Black Friday 2025. I'm already saving! I live in a tiny flat in Japan, an AC500 could run pretty much everything!
I have 2 Bluetti ACP 200's and 2 pecans The 2000LFP with 2 expansion batteries and one E600. But i would like to request a video or series of videos and Crypto mining. I am a complete novice and have no knowledge of theses but would like to change that. So if you could maybe take that under consideration. Long time subscriber love the channel, Thanks.....Jeff
Gas or propane generator to charge the batteries 😅 I live in Canada and when we most need power(winter) we get barely any daylight. Plus running a generator all night not only uses so much fuel, but also attracts attention.
In owned the AC200Max with an extra battery and would never do again. The balancing between the Batteries is horrible, they lose like 30% of their charge overnight while doing nothing and charging them with the huge extra charge - brick is just pain. Its just not reliable for going offgrid with them. My opinion, maybe i got a bad unit. But for 2k€ in total, i expact it to work.
I bought one and the unit has lost about 20% capacity after about 20ish uses and 2 1/2 years of lying about in a VERY nice environment. Who would think to check its capacity after that type of usage????? 2 years gone by and the warranty is nil. And they consider this an expected degradation of the battery. NEVER again for me.
I wouldn't buy Bluetti again. Of all my power stations from different brands, my EB3A has constant recalibration issues - it gets screwed up every time I charge with solar and then I need to "recalibrate" it again by charging with the AC cord, which makes charging it with solar a problem.
The EB3A is kind of a notorious screwup, it's already "replaced" (probably sooner than they really intended to) by other units. I'm surprised they're still selling it, honestly.
I have found (so far NOT with Bluetti but others) that the best designed products become bricks it the IOT backend is run by interns. (*Cough* EcoFlow *cough*)
BLUETTIE is the worst solar generator I've ever used. Not even 3 mths old. Used not more than 5 times. I bought it to back up my solar power in my 17' box van camper van to help keep my insulin safe if my main power went out. The 600watt gen I got from them is a p.o.s it won't charge, won't come on won't do anything. Can't get them to honor their warranty and was told go to Amazon wherw i bought it. No I got it through the actual Bluettie company. I wouldn't use their components to wipe my ass
I respect your opinion. However, there are a lot of loyal customers for several different brands because different people value different aspects of a power station. Personally, I really like the display and app of the Bluetti stations. Their form factor is also sleeker looking to me than the Ecoflow. The inverter size, storage capacity and power outputs are variable characteristics that the user must choose based on their use case and the unit price. Personally, I prefer the Bluetti family of power stations. Please notice that he has an Ecoflow behind him on the shelf.
Not to mention the solar is higher voltage instead of parallel i can use in series and not worry about it. I have been running an ac200p with 6 pro tran 2 transfer kit. Has been doing great.@greg2865

Good to know l. I just bought 2 ac180's

@theo.k.corral6895 Did you try calling Bluetti? Also, when you stored it, did you store it w/ the state of charge being at around 50%?

I have my generator to backup my solar system. Thumbs up 👍
Ben your chart 📈 is appreciated thank you.
Great! i have a DIY system, My backup is the grid..unfortunately.

Love my BLUETTI backup units. I own four of them.
Cool.. glad i picked the AC180 with 200w solar panel kit.. we are going off grid beginning of April.. this Bluetti will be powering the shed..
I have two Bluetti units. They have the best products.
Only complaints I have is the b300s batteries will get imbalance after a few days without topping the %. Quite annoying while being off grid.
I despise that Ecoflow's app requires an internet login.
What about the Bluetti app?
been running a maxxed out AC300 system for two years now. Powers about 80% of my house every day. only thing i want to change is more batteries so i can go more time with poor solar like this December was.........
By EB 2400 needed a part, they refuse to help. They said it's discontinued therefore no replacement part.

I would like to see a video on that as well.
Which is better? Bluetti or Ecoflow?
Gas or propane generator to charge the batteries 😅

Anyone suspicious that Bluetti & EcoFlow have the exact same banner layout & website functionality? Almost as if they’re the same company
Best thing is they are fully usable with the IN BUILT UI. Eco Flow, take note. Also GZ is a joke.
This is a blue Eddie commercial not a review or a instructional video.

Quite a Bluetti commercial. Not really a comparison to other brands. Ecoflow is better. More reliable and better company.

They are both great. Just Tailor made to fit specific but mostly overlapping use cases. Just pick one and enjoy the ecosystem
@ actually you don’t need any of them for whole home. Get a Generac propane whole for much less
