Hey TRZ, I noticed the inlet device moving around when you attached the flexible cord with the interlocking cord bodies to the inlet. Maybe you need some longer screws to attach to the sheathing and not just the vinyl siding. Just trying to help. Lights, and phone chargers draw very little wattage. Electric clothes dryers, water heaters, ovens, air-conditioning, etc., those appliances draw far more power and drain the battery much quicker than a new 75" Samsung QLED 90.
Awesome video brother. This was super informative. Thanks for bringing it to the channel. Gotta ahow this to the wife, it will come in handy in the spring.
Well one things for sure. When you have a battery hooked up like that you really find out how much power is being used. All the appliances in standby made add up when your on a battery. I have replaced all the bulbs in the house with cfl and led bulbs and saw no difference in the electric bill. I have a 1000 watt that I hooked up to 1 refrigerator just to see how long it would run for. It sat almost the whole time without being opened and it only ran it for around 5 hours. I had hoped it would go longer than that. I have a 4000 watt hooked up to the breaker box and I can go from gas generator to battery really easy. I just hope the battery will run the heater through the night. If it does that maybe I can add the refrigerator on to it. Just want to have the essentials and the quiet while everyone is sleeping.
Question: Will this single unit run/start a heat pump??? And for those of us who still have our tri-fuel generators, please discuss the possibility of using a tri/gas generator to charge/supplement the charging of the Solix. Maybe topping off the Solix before dark so that the Solix can power everything quitey at night. These power stations are looking better every day. Good stuff, Thanks.
That one last year that had us out for 2 days was horrible. I couldn't imagine what some of these people are dealing with in the south right now brother
This is absolutely great equipment in case of emergency. Love it😍👌

Great eye. I just had the siding redone and they didn't tighten it back up enough so I went out and screwed it down again 👊👊👊
Very informative, thank you 👍
Pretty cool. Its got all the features
Clint, that was a great description and walk through. Looks like a beefy unit.

I knew the "I'm a man" bit was coming and still laughed my ass off!
But won’t the battery juice leak out if you lay it down??
Lol
What if you have 4 days no power.
Been a lot of annoying outages this year.

@@ToolReviewZone We had tornadoes in August but it wasn't too bad for us. Some areas were out for a week. Down south is another level.
