I bought it for $125.00 plus a 6 month in store warranty. And then I only have 24 hours to get my money back if I take it back within the time frame. But I kinda of like it it's really simple and anyway it would be my second laptop because last year I go an HP in red like my husband has with 500GB storage and I basically got this Asus for my 58th Birthday on the 8th!!! And when I bought this I showed my twin son a $500.00 custom built water cooled pc he put on layaway because he likes to build custom pcs and he's get his as an belated birthday gift because he'll be 31 on November 13th. I like that Asus and the thing that attracted me to it was I like the number keypad/mouse track pad and the green and how light the computer fee s!!!

It's a great laptop for programming, encoding, and small office work related task. Most of all, it's expendable enough for you to not worry about it getting lost or mugged, but just make sure you have an external hard drive to back your files up.
Good! A Gigabyte's barebone has the same cpu and it is fanless. Is this laptop fanless too? It is a very important feature for those who want to work in silence. If they are fanless you should advertise it?🙂
I don’t think this budget laptop would be best for Sims 4 since they recommend at least 8gb of ram. (This laptop only has 4 gb). They also recommend an i5 cpu at least, this laptop is just a dual core and this isn’t really meant for gaming

What editing software were you planning on using? I feel like this wouldn’t hold up for editing because of the ram and storage capacity. How long are your clips? If you’re using adobe premier pro I wouldn’t recommend this laptop
Hi, I looked up alldata program pc requirements. Correct me if I’m wrong but it looks like it requires a pc with a cpu with at least 1.4ghz. Unfortunately a Intel Celeron 4500 cpu runs at 1.10 ghz. So basically it doesn’t meet the requirements if I’m seeing the right pc requirements online

It’s definitely a budget laptop. When running youtube or other programs open task manager. Under processes you can see which is using the most cpu, memory, disk etc
A combination of things. Ram and ssd speeds make a difference. If a cpu is too slow (often seen in budget laptops) it will make the experience terrible. I would say cpu is important for streaming. Ram helps with multitasking. Having 32gb of ram would be useless if the cpu can’t keep up. That’s just my opinion

I would try to avoid the entry level celeron cpus. As a starting point a laptop with an i3 or i5 cpu or even a ryzen 5. There’s plenty out there. So many laptops. Asus vivo pretty good or the aspire 3 or 5
I would not recommend this laptop to record music. This is more of an entry level laptop. You will need better specs or it will be a frustrating process
Any specific programs they want to run? This laptop can do basic applications. What helps is removing the bloatware that comes with it and removing windows s mode. Try to get one with an ssd and not a hard drive. Makes a big difference. Other than that it’s a good laptop for the price. I can easily use it as my daily driver
On sale, yes. It will get the job done but you won’t be able to multi task. Also just basic software. You won’t be able to run photoshop or anything too extensive without it freezing up. This particular model you can upgrade the ram. Keep in mind this is an older model.

So if they wanted to install certain games or even something like a google chrome browser, you would have to remove the laptop from Windows S mode. Keep in mind it's not a very fast computer.

There are a lot of players for windows for different formats. It has the windows media player app as the default player www.windowscentral.com/how-get-started-media-player-app-windows-11-preview . If you wanted to install 3rd party players like flv players you need to remove windows 11 s mode
I can play STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl with static lighting above 30 fps and going up to 60 fps much of the time. Fallout New Vegas on Low/Medium mix are mostly in the 30+ fps range. Quake 2 plays fine at 60fps and above as do older games such as System Shock 2. Oh, I have the older version of this which has a Celeron N4020 and 4GB RAM, Intel UHD 600 graphics. I did add a 512GB Gen 3 M.2 SSD and made it the boot drive after cloning the Windows eMMC drive to it. I then hid the eMMC drive with Windows on it and keep it as a backup OS.
Very basic laptop. If you are running creative cloud adobe apps like photoshop I do not recommend this. For zoom, it only has a 480p camera so there are much better options. This is for very casual use. Also recommend getting this on sale if possible

I've got a ASUS Vivobook Go 15 (4GB RAM/128GB eMMC) with the N4500 processor and it's fine for some Sims 4 simming.

It is not fanless, but the fan rarely kicks in.

Good question. In the video I quoted the manual which was the recommendation of charging 3 hours before using battery only

Interesting for mac, you could try converting them to heic. I’m guessing mp4 are short video files
Off the bat you probably have to remove windows s mode, then download flv player for mp4 files (if it’s mp4 video) that I’m thinking of

There are a few variants out there, but I believe these models with N4500 can be expanded up to 8 GB RAM.

It comes with windows 11 s mode already installed. I had to switch it to windows 11 home in order to do some gaming test for an upcoming video
